3rd Person POV:

There's a large room full of reporters at a press conference, at the front of the room we see a table with Detective Donovan and Detective Inspector Lestrade. Through the blinding lights and flashes, Sally Donovan begins.

"The body of Beth Davenport, Junior Minister for Transport, was found late last night on a building site in Greater London. Preliminary investigations suggest that this was suicide." Still more flashing and now chatter between the reporters, "We can confirm this apparent suicide closely resembles those of Sir Jeffrey Patterson and James Phillimore. In the light of this, these incidents are now being treated as linked. The investigation is on-going, but Detective Inspector Lestrade will take questions now."

Chaos breaks out among the reporters. Question after question is yelled out and yet, one is distinguishable from the rest.

"Detective Inspector, how can suicides be linked?" They ask. Almost in unison, the rest of the reporters raise their voice recorders towards Lestrade.

Already looking exasperated, Lestrade replies, "They all took the same poison. They were all found in places they had no reason to be, none of them had shown any prior indication of-"

The reporter cuts him off in a matter-of-fact tone, "But you can't have serial suicides."

Further irritated, Lestrade says, "Apparently you can."

The flashes and chattering continues as a second reporter speaks up, "These three people, there's nothing that links them?"

"There's no link we've found yet, but we're looking for it - there has to be one." Replies Lestrade.

All the reporters rush to copy down notes and then, not quite in sync, a series of chimes and dings chorus from everyone's phones. Everyone, discluding Lestrade, checks their phone.

WRONG!

"If you've all got texts, please ignore them." Sally says, growing agitated.

Still confused, a reporter speaks up, "It just says 'Wrong'."

Just the thought of the pair behind this infuriates Sally, so, she replies, "Yeah, well just ignore that. If there are no more questions for Detective Inspector Lestrade, I'm going to bring this session to an end."

However, not satisfied, another reporter speaks, "If they're suicides, what are you investigating?"

Tired of having to repeat himself, Lestrade rubs his eyes, "As I say, these suicides are clearly linked, this is an unusual situation, and we have our best people investigating." Again, another chorus of chimes ring through the conference room.

WRONG!

"Says 'Wrong' again." says a reporter, all of the reporters continue to grow confused. This causes Lestrade and Sally to share a furious glance.

Instead of addressing it, Sally decides on announcing, "One more question. "

"Is there any chance these are murders, and if they are, is this the work of a serial killer?" Asks a different reporter.

Lestrade replies again, "I know you like writing about those, but these do appear to be suicides. We know the difference. The poison was clearly self administered."

Trying to get the answer she wants, the reporter asks, "Yes, but if they are murders, how do people keep themselves safe?"

Becoming more and more vexed, Lestrade bluntly replies, "Don't commit suicide." With a shrug. Clearly offended, whispers echo around the reporters.
