Is this what death feels like I wondered in my head. All around me was the darkness with no amount of light for me to see. I walked aimlessly forward to see if I could escape from the blackness of my surroundings. Quickly I breeze by me and I turn to see a globe of light to my left that hadn't been there before. Walking towards it I touched the globe to see if anything would happen.
Nothing.
Of course, what I had been thinking, it shouldn't have been that easy. Before I could walk away from the globe a bright shine came from it that I had to cover my eyes. When I looked back at the ball of light it started to circle around me.
"Non enim inveni eam, regina nostra" it began to chant.
Tendrils of light attached to the ball floated over to me and grabbed onto my wrists.
"What the fuck" I screamed trying to pull my hands away from the light.
My survival instincts turned on and I started to use my werewolf strength to get out of the grasp of the light. Digging my feet into the ground I pushed with all my strength with no luck. What is happening?
The ball began to chant once again "Regina nostra, Analise Kade. Regina nostra, Analise Kade."
Still trying to get out of the ethereal object's grasp the ball of light came closer to my face.
"Regina, regina, regina, regina."
Slowly the chanting began to disappear as I lost consciousness of my body. When I was conscious I began to scream before my body embraced me. Realizing that it was Sin I buried my face into his shoulder, calming my breathing down. Questions started to float in my head wondering how the hell am I still alive? The last thing I remember is the black smoke touching me and then I went to that alternate universe of darkness. When I finally calmed down I removed my head from his shoulder but Sin didn't let me out of his embrace. Rissa, Aiden, and Xavier gave me a group hug while I was still in Sin's lap. After our embrace, Aiden and Xavier gave me a peck on my forehead before removing themselves from me.
"Thank god you're ok" Rissa whispered in my ear before copying Aiden and Xavier's action removing herself from me.
I finally asked the question that we all are probably thinking "How the hell am I still alive?"
Rissa started to explain "We don't know, one second you were there and next you disappeared along with the black smoke. You were gone for almost ten minutes before you reappeared unconscious. Sinclair carried you back to the castle and we waited for you to wake up."
Darius asked, "Do you know where you went?"
Recalling the events, I said "It was completely dark and there was a ball of light there. It was like it was a living creature and kept saying the same word over and over."
"What was it?" Xavier asked.
"Regina" I replied.
Immediately Sin removed himself from me and shared a look with Adonis who looked like he was about to shit himself. When I turned towards Sin he had a terrified look in his eyes almost the same as Adonis's.
