four people in a three-bedroom house. that was the situation like in the grey household. while the three interns stayed in rooms, jamie, the new attending, stayed at the attic. the brunette slept in a worn-out mattress that was used by meredith's mom back in the day. it's been a week since izzie, george, and jamie moved in with meredith. it wasn't all sunshine, to say the least.
it was a gloomy friday morning. the four doctors were getting ready for an early day at the hospital. jamie, who woke up early, was making waffles and coffee at the kitchen.
"uh, excuse me? excuse me!" george, who was taking a shower upstairs, screamed. the other blonde intern, izzie, took george's toothbrush then went downstairs to have some breakfast.
"what was that about?" jamie asked.
"george was being a baby. this is what happens when a guy lives with three women." izzie said as she spit out her toothpaste. jamie laughed at what izzie said. this was jamie's first time living with three people. in new york, she lived alone. sometimes, addison would stay with her, or sometimes, mark would crash at her place.
