"do you really think it's a good idea to work there? i mean, derek works there. he literally left new york to get away from his life here." jamie said while she twirls a cigarette butt around her small fingers.
"jay, are you seriously worried about derek? he's your freaking best friend!" addison reassured the girl.
as the cigarette touches her small lips, she quickly rolled her eyes at the woman sitting across her. addison was basically telling her to spy on her best friend. not that she doesn't want to see her best friend, but the thought of teaming up with the "ruler of all evil" didn't really sound good for her.
"please? for me, jay. i know you want to go see derek. to check up on him. plus, you also won't see mark while you're at seattle!" addison pleaded, she then tightly hugged the girl.
"fine! not for you though." jamie angrily told addison. "don't get me wrong, addie. i love you, and you're like a sister to me, but you cheated on derek."
"i'll go to seattle to see derek, not to spy. and please, can you not tell mark?"
"yes! you have my word jay. oh, i love you so much." addison quickly hugged the girl tightly, not letting her move.
the small girl hoped and prayed that her best friend wants to see her too.
