We all just looked at the android. I could tell that Tony was in pure awe. He was proud. Tony had felt like he had failed after what happened with Ultron. Seeing what he had created here with this, this Vision, amazed him.
"Their powers, The horrors in our heads, Ultron himself, they all came from that Mind stone. And they're nothing compared to what it can unleash. But with it on our side," Thor says
"Is it? Are you? On our side?" Steve asks
"I don't think it's that simple," he replies
"Well, it better get simple real soon," Clint says
"I am on the side of life. Ultron isn't. He will end it all," the android replies
"What is he waiting for?" I ask
The android looks me directly in my eyes.
"You," he replies
"Where?" Banner asks
"Sokovia. He's got Nat there too," Clint adds
"If we're wrong about you. If you're the monster that Ultron made you to be," Banner says the android
"What will you do?" the android asked
I couldn't tell how he was feeling. He didn't seem scared and he also didn't seem angry. He seemed so sure of himself for just being born a few minutes ago. He had his own opinions and his own thought process.
"I don't want to kill Ultron. He's unique and he is in pain. But that pain will roll over the Earth. So, he must be destroyed. Every form he has built, every trace of his presence on the net. We have to act now. And not one of us can do it without the others. Maybe I am a monster. I don't think I'd know if I were one. I'm not what you are, and not what you intended. So, there may be no way to make you trust me. But we need to go," the android says to us all
He effortlessly lifts Thor's hammer and hands it to him. Thor looks at him then looks at the hammer in confusion. Everyone, including myself, looks at the hammer in the android's hand in shock. If Thor's nonsense about only the worthy being able to wield his hammer then maybe this was a sign that we could trust the android and that he was here to help life itself. Thor grabs the hammer from the android in confusion and the android walks off.
"Right then, Well done," Thor says while patting Tony on the shoulder
"Three minutes. Get what you need," Steve says to the group.
We all headed to the weapons room to grab anything and everything that we needed. The Maximoff's followed close behind, still not knowing their place. I wasn't sure if I could trust them or not. Steve seemed to trust them so maybe it was okay to let my guard down.
"I am not going to hurt you, you know?" Wanda says to me in her thick accent
"I know," I reply
"I can sense the conflict within your mind. My brother and I, want to stop Ultron," She replies
"What changed your mind?" I ask
"We realized that Ultron didn't want to just kill the Avengers, He wanted to kill off the entire world," her brother replies
"I see," I reply
"I apologize," Wanda says to me
"Don't stress it," I say while putting my baton back in its place and exiting the room.
I walk out and see Tony, Banner and Steve all together.
"All ready?" Tony asks
"As I'll ever be," I reply
