"Okay, so good news or bad news first?" You smile.

The 8 Pillars (which 2 are bandaged up) stare at you while Ubuyashiki and Gyomei look in your general direction. Sekido didn't come to the meeting this time.

On the left side, sat Uzui, you, Sanemi, Muichiro, and Giyuu. Then across was Gyomei, Kyojuro, Shinobu, Iguro, and Mitsuri. Sitting between Uzui and Gyomei was Ubuyashiki. You were all inside since Ubuyashiki couldn't walk for long distances anymore.

Ubuyashiki has gotten sicker. You feel sad seeing him in that condition.

"Bad news," Ubuyashiki says.

"Uh, try again." You suggest.

"Good news."

Sanemi sighs quietly and hides his face in his hands.

"Good news is, I voluntarily fell off a cliff, and I survived. So Giyuu should really stop sulking." You pointedly stare at the Water Pillar.

Giyuu only looks away; he's definitely going to continue to sulk.

Kyojuro blinks owlishly at you: "You... fell off a cliff?"

"Voluntarily." You correct him.

Kyojuro blinks owlishly at you: "You... voluntarily fell off a cliff?"

Sanemi and Uzui glare in Giyuu's direction.

"To be fair," You raise your right arm in surrender, "Giyuu was going to die if I kept holding on. That demon was a piece of shit and for some reason, when I went to decapitate it, I only phased through it."

"You said there was also bad news, (Y/n)?" Ubuyashiki refrains from rubbing his temples, "I hate to hear what it might be considering the good news wasn't exactly good."

"Right," You rub the back of your head, "I only survived because Upper Moon Three.-"

Numerous quiet groans of frustration and irritation were heard.

"-Akaza saved me. And that's not even the bad news." You start to play with the hem of your uniform skirt, "Akaza isn't Upper Moon Three anymore; Muzan demoted him. Not only that, but Akaza was saying Muzan's name without exploding or whatever, so he's a free, powerful demon now."

"What was Upper Moon-What was Akaza doing in that area?" Iguro asks.

"I'm sure Ubuyashiki had told you all already, but I'm just-I am too irresistible, you guys," You dramatically flip your hair, "But in all seriousness, I should probably explain what's up."

"Try to be more formal with your words," Sanemi leans his elbow on his knee and props his chin up with his hand, "Be more literal as well."
