"This is gonna be a long day."

BLAISE SIGHS as she quietly puts on her apron in the locker room of her job. Today is the day that she gets her first ever paycheck. Well... her first every paycheck that her mother wouldn't frown upon. Either way, she's excited for today. Saint said he would come over just to hang out with her so she isn't bored and since his mother is still out for her business trip, Elizabeth is coming too. Blaise didn't realize how much she loves that little girls company until she was thinking about playing Mario Kart with her and Saint the other night.

Blaise walks out of the locker room only to be face-to-face with her very disheveled boss. She raises an eyebrow in question at the sight before her. Tyra, with her large afro in a ponytail puff on top of her head and small girl being carried in her arms. She has long, flowing dark brown hair and beautiful toffee skin. She looks to be about four years old and is playing with the young woman's hair.

"Tyra? You okay?" Blaise wonders.

Tyra snaps her head over to the teenager. "Oh Blaise! Thank the lord you're here!" She holds out the child. "I need ya to take care o' this little angel for a few hours."

Blaise tilts her head to the side in confusion. "Um... huh?" Last time she checked, babysitter wasn't in her job description.

"Please say yes! There's an emergency at the pack-- I mean at my husband's job and I need to be there to make sure everything is okay," She says, panicking.

Blaise frowns. "But, I have a shift right now. It's pretty hard to take care of a toddler when I'm tending to customers."

"She's real sweet! Quiet too. Besides, all you gotta do is feed 'er when she's hungry and help her in the bathroom," She instructs, as if it's that simple to take care of a human.

The small girl blinks. Blaise copies the action.

"I'll pay you an extra two hundred dollars if ya do this for me," Tyra deadpans.

Blaise smirks and motions for Tyra to hand over the kid. "Pleasure doin' business with ya."

Tyra rolls her eyes. She tucks a strand of hair behind the child's ear. "Dyani, I need you to be good for Miss Blaise, okay? She gon' take care o' ya while mama helps papa."
