As a writer, story-teller... whatever, I kind of have to recognize when I've done some shit, and... I have.
A lot of people have written to me, and commented with questions about Allen- especially the Allen you guys came across in the prologue, and hurts his lovers, that's nothing like the adorable cinnamon roll I've tried to get Paige to fall in love with... so I've decided to change that.
I've gone bad and edited the problematic chapters... especially the prologue. I have to say that when I wrote it, I had a very different story and a very different Allen in mind... a more, controlling, anger-issues... to be honest, toxic Allen. Then I realized that there are already way too many stories with toxic, low (or high)-key abuse love interests, and I didn't want Paige -or anyone else for that matter- to fall for, or romanticize that.
Anyways, I have gone back and edited some stuff, to make Allen a less terrible person... because a lot of the stuff I wrote was terrible. The things I've edited are the prologue and chapter 15. I'd suggest that you go back and re-read both... the changes are not massive, but they're making him a less shitty person... yeah.
Anyways, love ya'll... I'll go back to my poor little life... literally, poor. I cannot wait to get paid again on the 1st. Oh, did I even tell you guys I got a new job? I work as a cashier now. It's... less terrible than I imagined.
