"You're stuck in here with me, asshole."

"Oh, am I? Good to know," the kid smirks, eyeing the motorcycles around him. There are only two delinquents, but they're large enough to need more than one bullet, and he can't afford that many right now. He dodges the first delinquent, who's wielding a switchblade. The large man growls, eyeing the mask that sits on the villain's face. He jumps again, but the villain steps to the side, having the advantage of eyes in this fight. The two, along with Aren, jump toward the villain, but before they can make it the large men collapse with exhaustion. "Aww, they can't handle a little poison gas? Too bad." The boy raises his gun toward Aren, smiling at his victory. Aren's eyes glint as he swoops forward, pushing the villain's arm up so the bullet goes into the sky.

"I don't need them to win this," He growls, using his spare hand to punch his opponent in the liver. He twists the villain's wrist to make him drop the gun, which falls far enough away to not be an issue. The villain crumples over in pain as Aren punches his side once more, the hero ruthlessly kicking his gut. He produces more gas as a last-ditch effort, but Aren becomes bored with his toy and decides to lean down, a smirk on his face but hidden by his mask. "What's this for?" He asks innocently, taking off the villain's gasmask. The gas dissipates, leaving Aren alone with the unconscious body of a villain and a friend.

Midoriya grunts as he falls to the ground, blood gushing from his head. The villain laughs with menacing glee at the sight, his mouth curved in a smirk.

"Yes! Blood is exactly what I wanted from you! What did you promise? That "everything will be okay"? How's that working out for you?" He gloats, his adrenaline high as he sees Kota frozen in fear. He walks toward Midoriya, who is struggling to get to his feet. "Don't just lay there, stupid!"

That muscle quirk of his is too powerful! I need a plan! If I worry about the others right now, I'm dead! I should focus on the enemy in front of me! Midoriya lets his quirk flow through him when he's standing, punching the villain. The villain doesn't react, scoffing slightly at how weak his opponent is.

"What, is that all you've got? You're fast but you're not strong enough to hurt me!" He throws Midoriya aside, watching as the boy flies a few meters away with his simple push. "How boring! No wonder you weren't on the list. That quirk of yours is just an inferior one of mine," He yawns, slowly approaching Midoriya to attack again. He jumps when he's closer, giving Midoriya a moment to jump away, his body green with power. The villain corrects his course, punching Midoriya as he flies backward. "You shouldn't make promises you can't keep, kid. How are you gonna save him, huh? You're no hero! You're just a fraud! And you'll die that way!" The villain is cut off by a small rock hitting the back of his neck. He glances behind him, surprised to see Kota.

"Remember Water Hose?" The boy questions, tears clouding his vision. "My mom? And my dad? Did you torment the two of them too? Before you killed them?" Midoriya gasps, his eyes wide as Kota speaks.

"Huh? Seriously? Those losers were your parents? Well then, this must be fate. Those Water Hose heroes, they're the reason I have an artificial eye in my left socket right now!"

"This is all your fault! Nothing in the world is right anymore! And it's because of crazy people like you!"

"Little kids are always so quick to say it's someone else's fault. Don't get the wrong idea, it's not like I took them out 'cause I was mad about the eye thing. I wanted to kill people, it's as simple as that. And those two tried to stop me. What happened was a result of all of us doing our best. The real travesty is promising to do something you aren't able to do! That's why your dear old mommy and daddy died!" He yells, looming over Kota as he prepares to attack the boy. Midoriya moves quickly, kicking off the ground and speeding forward to save Kota. "Nice try with the sneak attack, but I'm ready!"
