Chaeyoung"Let's ask each other some questions each step."
I told him, smiling. I want to do that not just because I'm nosy. I want to do that because I think it would make our date less dull and I'm also hoping it would lift his spirits even just a little.
"That's corny." He chuckled.
"Come on!"
"Let's just go up straight." He said that made my smile slowly disappear. "That's way faster than that idea of yours." He chuckled.
I looked away from him and started going up the stairs quietly.
What a killjoy...
"Hey, wait." I heard him say and I can feel him following me.
"Fine, let's do that." He said which made me stop. I turned around to look at him.
"Are you sure?"
"Well.." he shrugged. "Yes."
I sneered a bit before signaling him to come closer. He obliged immediately and faced me as soon as he went beside me.
"What am I going to do?"
I huffed. "I'll go first." I told him instead since I don't feel like explaining.
I stepped onto the next step and glanced at him over my shoulder.
"Are you okay?" I asked softly.
I was just looking ahead of me while waiting for him to answer but when almost a minute has passed, I turned around slightly to look at him, only to find him staring at me.
I frowned a bit and just stared back at him. But after a few seconds, he broke the eye contact.
"I'm fine.."
I nodded a bit, unconvinced, and signaled him to step up.
"It's your turn."
"On a scale of one to ten.." he said that caught my full attention. I raised my brow a bit and the corner of my mouth raised when I saw a small smirk forming on his lips.
"How handsome do you think I am?"
Wow. Is he for real?
"Are you seriously asking me that?"
He looked at me with amusement dancing in his eyes.
"I'm afraid it's not your turn yet, Chaeyoung-ssi." He said that made me roll my eyes a bit.
"Uhm.." My face started to heat. "6?"
"That sounds like a question."
I cleared my throat a bit. "7, then."
He laughed. "Just seven?"
I looked him in his eyes bravely. "I'm afraid it's my turn now, Sehun-ssi."
