"Oh, Chaeyoung."
Jackson said when he saw me. I just gave him a tight-lipped smile before looking back at Sehun. I suddenly wished he isn't here when I saw how Sehun's expression changed.
He must really hate him, huh.
"Why are you here?" Sehun asked while looking at him blankly.
"Am I not allowed to buy a coffee here?" Jackson huffed.
"Are you two dating?"
"Yes." He answered instantly.
"Wow," he chuckled. "I see."
"So? Are you going to ignore me your whole life?" He asked Sehun.
"You know, you can't hate me your whole life just because of one mistake." He added that caught my attention.
"Leave us alone."
Jackson sighed. When I looked at him, I caught him looked at me. He then gave me a small smile.
"Since you're his girlfriend, maybe you could convince your immature boyfriend to talk with me." He winked. "Sorry for interrupting your date." He looked briefly at Sehun before turning around and walking away.
I sighed and looked at Sehun.
"You were friends with him before, right?" I asked hesitantly that made him look at me.
"We were friends but we weren't very close."
I licked my lip. "What happened.. if you don't mind me asking?"
"I befriended him because my father told me to. You already know that I wasn't really friendly when I was little, but I still did what he said. My mother also thought that it would be better for me if I make new friends." I remained quiet as I pay attention to him.
"My father wanted me to get close with Jackson because of his family's power and riches." He said that got me a little shocked. "He thought it would be good for him and our company if I become close with the Wangs' only son."
"Jackson was friendly so we became friends easily. And then we met this girl who's a few years older than the two of us. She became our friend. And as we grew older, I developed feelings for her." He looked straight into my eyes.
"She's my first girlfriend, Chaeyoung."
I smiled a bit. "I see."
"Jackson knew that I really like her. And I thought we both feel the same towards each other, so it was very shocking for me when I found out that they were seeing each other behind my back." My lips parted in shock because of what I just heard.
Jackson did what?
"I thought he only thought of her as his sister.. turns out he liked her romantically as well." He chuckled. I just stared at him quietly.
I understand if he doesn't want to talk with him. And I understand if he hates him. He was a friend to him but he betrayed him.
"Do you.." I trailed off softly. "..still like her?"
When he stared into my eyes, I grew anxious. I got a little scared of what he's going to answer, but a part of me is telling me to not get scared.. a part of me is telling me that I'm the one he likes now.
"Of course not. I already have you." He said that made me feel relieved. I gave him a smile and nodded.
"Where is she now?" I asked curiously.
