Chaeyoung
I'm on my way to our room, a little preoccupied. I'm thinking about when I should ask him to talk, and how I should start the conversation. Should I tell it to him immediately or should I say a few words first? And I wonder how he's going to react. I wonder if he loves me too.. or if he only likes me.
When I turned right, I bumped into someone.
"Sorry.."
"Sorry.." We said in unison.
We both averted our eyes at the same time. A few seconds have passed, but we're still standing in front of each other, not wanting to make eye contact.
Why did things suddenly get awkward between us?
I glanced at him when he sighed. I bit my lower lip.
I should ask him now..
"Can we talk?" He spoke before I could even open my mouth to speak. I looked at him and found him already looking at me.
"S-Sure," I smiled a bit. "I'll.." I glanced at my clothes. "..just change." I saw him nod before I turned around and walked away. Jisoo was lying down on the bed when I got inside. She's smiling at her phone that got me curious.
I decided to ignore her and just change quickly. I went out and headed to the beach. I was walking along a stone path when I suddenly saw Taehyung standing near a wall. I was about to take my eyes off him when Yoonah suddenly appeared and kissed him!
My lips parted in shock as I watch her kiss him. I gulped and took my eyes off them. I saw Sehun at the boardwalk, his back facing me. I made my way towards him, still thinking about what I just saw.
I thought she's with Jackson..
I stopped beside Sehun and gazed at the water. None of us spoke for a couple of minutes. The only thing we can hear is the sound of waves crashing. The sun is about to set and the wind is slightly getting cold.
"I'm sorry.." he spoke softly that made me look at him.
"For ignoring you. I was just.." I saw him furrowing his brows while looking somewhere far.
"Jealous.." he muttered. I blinked rapidly and looked away.
And he's jealous because?
"Lisa's right. I shouldn't have hung out with her. I shouldn't have ignored you.." he said in a regretful tone that made me smile a bit.
"I'm sorry, too.. And I wasn't flirting with Taehyung."
Silence enveloped us. As I admire the beautiful view before my eyes, I can hear him taking a deep breath. And I felt nervous all of a sudden. My heart pounded when he called my name softly.
"You know, I was okay with my life. But ever since I saw you again that day, I felt like something has changed within me. I felt happier. I felt contented all the time we were together these past few months.. and I seriously haven't felt that before."
"You really captured my interest that day." We both chuckled. I can still clearly remember what happened at the rooftop. I used to feel ashamed of what happened but now, I just laugh it off.
"I find you beautiful and interesting.." he glanced at me and continued after a short while.
"That's why I kept on trying to catch your attention and asking you to hang out." He faced me and looked into my eyes.
