Dade sat at the edge of the cliff shivering. She had been there for almost three hours.

The rain had stopped, and instead it was just dark clouds. That got darker and darker the longer she sat there.

She lifted herself up and started heading back home.

She didn't know why Alice suddenly didn't want to be friends.

Maybe it had to do with Edward.

Dade stared straight ahead, ignoring the world as she walked.

Bellas car was parked in front of the house when Dade arrived.

She opened the door and stepped inside, after taking her boots and soaked sweater off, she ran upstairs.

Dade touched her doorknob but hesitated. She didn't want to talk to Bella, she just wanted to sleep.

She took a deep breath and opened her door.

Bella looked up at her and got off there bed.

"Dade, where have you been?" Bella asked worriedly.

"Its a long story." Dade said tiredly.

"I don't care. I was worried." Bella said.

"I'm sorry. I just needed to get some fresh air."

"For the entire day!" Bella said.

Dade rolled her eyes. "It doesn't matter. Is Edward still ignoring you?"

Bella wanted to talk about where Dade had gone and what happened but knew that wouldn't happen.

She sighed and sat down on her bed.

"No, he isn't. Today he was asking me all these questions, and he walked me to my locker." Bella said.

"Oh. That's good."

"I guess."

There was a long silence. Both girls were thinking about the Cullen's but for different reasons.

"Was Alice with you?" Bella asked.

"Yeah, i wasn't feeling good so she took me home." Dade said sadly.

"There's something off about them." Bella said.

Dade sighed. "You noticed too?"

"Yeah. Edward never eats. Neither do the rest of them. They all have golden eyes"

Dades eyebrows furrowed. She only noticed those things about Alice.

"Alice said they were contacts.." Dade murmured.

"Edward said they were 'the florescents of the light'" Bella said, confused.

Dade tapped her foot against the floor.

"No, florescents can change a persons eye colour, but not that drastically. What colour were his eyes before?" Dade asked.

"How would i know?" Bella asked.

Dade rolled her eyes. "Bella you stare at him twenty four seven. The first time we had class with him and Alice, you wouldn't stop gawking at him."

"Is it that obvious?"

"Extremely. So what colour were they?"

"Super dark brown. Almost pitch black." Bella said.

"And he disappeared for a few days, and when he came back they were gold. I swear i read about something like this somewhere." Dade said.

"Mythical Creatures maybe?" Bella suggested.

"I think so." Dade said. "I probably sound crazy."

"No. I, i don't think they're...." Bella trailed off.
