Thalia POV

Urgh it's way too early to get up. I can't even see anything at this ungodly hour!

Wait a minute.

SHIT!!! I FORGOT TO PACK!!!

I dove around the cabin getting stuff and stuffing them into my backpack, in the process waking Jason up

"Keep it down" he mumbled before putting his pillow above his head.

There all done.

Dam I'm gonna be large if I don't hurry!

Heh heh dam.

That one never gets old.

I ran all the way to my old tree to see Annabeth and Gemma waiting there.

I nodded at them in greeting.

It's just the boys now I guess.

Then the shadows thickened and Nico appeared scaring us to death!

"HOLY HERA!!! DONT DO THAT!!!" I shrieked

Nico only smiled creepily in reply while the others laughed.

"So it's just Percy now huh? Typical." said Nico

"Speak of the devil" I muttered.

Percy came running to us.

"Sorry I'm late. I forgot to pack." He apologized

"Seaweed Brain" said Annabeth fondly

She walked up to him and gave him a peck on the lips.

"Alright so let's go. Percy call the Backjack and his friends" ordered Annabeth

Percy let out a New York taxicab whistle and five pegasus landed in front of us.

"Gods I hate flying" I muttered

Percy had overheard me and gave me a reassuring smile.

We got our pegasus and flew into the break of dawn.

Washington here we come.

Dad if you're listening, please don't let me fall I prayed as the cars and buildings became smaller and smaller.

The thunder rumbled.

He heard me.

Oh I hope I don't die, was my last thought before I fell into a very well deserved sleep.
