Chapter 21

Annabeth POV

I woke up screaming. The others immediately jumped to their feet.

"What's wrong?" asked Percy worriedly

"I had a dream about Caleb and Luke. We only have three days." I said tearfully.

Percy embraced me in a hug.

The others, especially Zoe looked worried.

"We will find them." said Nico reassuringly.

"I sure do hope so" muttered Zoe

"We better get moving then" said Thalia

"We have to walk from here." I told them

Reluctantly all of us got to our feet and started our journey.

I was in front with Percy, Thalia and Nico in the middle and Zoe at the end.

We walked silently not wanting to gain any attention.

Suddenly, there was a sound of a twig snapping.

All of us got into our battle stance and stood back to back.

Then, a boy stepped out of the shadows.

He lowered his hood.

He had brown hair and blue eyes.

"Who are you?" I demanded

"Don't worry, I come in peace. I only wish to help." He told us

"How do we know we can trust you?" I questioned him

"Chaos sent me. He told me to tell you that the Ring of Olympus has been stolen from the museum. The Mirzas have just taken it about an hour ago. They are somewhere in the mountainside." He explained

Groans escaped my friends lips.

"Who are you?" I repeated

"I am Zachary Smith but you can call me Zac. I am a son of Peace, goddess of well peace." He finally told us.

"I am assuming you are to follow us all the way there?" I asked him

"I am only here to escort you to their hiding spot then Chaos told me that I have to return to our planet for another mission." He said

"Alright then, let's get moving" I said

"Wait" said Zoe suddenly

"What is it Gemma?" I asked

"What is that?" She said bewildered

I followed her gaze.

There was smoke in the sky.

Not just any smoke.

It was skatha, someone would have to say a very powerful incantation to produce this.

It is used to bind and teleport people to where the person was.

It surrounded us.

We were trapped.

Just to let you know, I won't be updating until the end of March cuz I have exams.

But since I'm on a one week holiday because of Chinese New Year, I might update.
