bonus scene: cuddling

BONUS SCENE.
( CUDDLING.. )

Ella had been hiding in James' room for most of the day. She didn't have an exam that day so had tried to spend more time studying. This had eventually failed and since she knew that James didn't have an exam the others did. She decided to wait in James' room for his return. She had originally gone up in her casual clothes. But with the draughty castle, she had grown cold.

She had gone rooting through his trunk and found one of his jumpers, putting it on before she slid into his bed. Her shoes resting on the floor next to the bed as she curled up. Ella didn't realise how tired she was until her head hit the pillow. Her nostril being filled with the smell of him and she very quickly fell asleep.

When James came upstairs, he certainly hadn't expected to find Ella curled up in his bed. He had previously been looking for her but when he found nothing, he decided to go to his dorm. Which is where she was. Her arms wrapped around his pillow and snuggled up in one of his jumpers. He couldn't help but grin as he walked over to her. She was sleeping so soundly, he almost didn't have the heart to move her.

But as he took his shoes off, he decided that he wanted to join her. So, he moved to the other side of the bed and slid underneath the covers. A soft groan leaving Ella's lips as James wrapped his arms around her waist. His head nuzzling into her neck, inhaling her scent as she groaned again. Her eyes opened and then she felt the hands, her eyes shooting open.

"Get off me!" Ella quickly said, about to push them away before she realised it was only James. A soft chuckle escaped his lips as he looked up at her. Her head tilted to the side a little before she collapsed abck against the bed. James pulling her closer and pressing a kiss to the corner of her lips.

"Hello to you too," He teased as he pressed a soft kiss to her lips. Ella's eyes closing as she buried her face in the pillow. Her cheeks flushing red at the embarrassment of being caught in his room in his jumper. He chuckled softly and pressed a soft kiss to the back of ehr head.

"I didn't know you'd be back so soon," She muttered softly as she pushed herself to roll over. Her eyes falling closed again as she shuffled forward. Burying her face in his chest, inhaling his scent rather than the diluted version on his pillow. He ran his fingers through her hair and just allowed her to snuggle up to him.

"I just finished my exam. The others are in theres," He muttered softly. Ella nodded slightly and just buried her face under his chin. He allowed her to do as she pleased, his heart melting at just having her around. His fingers twirling locks of her hair as he just stayed with her. The warmth of her body pressed against his just made him smile.

"How was it?" She muttered, her exhaustion evident in her tone. She blinked a few times, letting out a yawn as she brought her hand up to cover her mouth. He couldn't help but smile at her and then she shuffled back. She wanted to look at him properly now, she had missed him all day and now she finally had him around. Her hand lifting to gently cup his cheek.

"It was an exam. I can't imagine it was any worse than all of yours," He said as she ran her finger along his cheekbone. Her eyes following her thumb before they dropped to his lips. They looked so soft and Ella found herself desperate to lean forward and just taste him.

"Don't remind me. I was supposed to be studying," Ella muttered, lazily gesturing to the stack of books on the side of the table. He chuckled gently at that and pressed a soft kiss to her lips. He didn't mean to be cruel in his laughter so was glad that her pout was only playful. Her hand moving up to run through his hair, "Your hair is so soft. How is this fair," Ella pouted as she rested her hand against his hair. He chuckled and then looked down at her.

"I just take care of mine rather than giving myself blonde highlights with a janky spell," James muttered. Ella rolled her eyes and nudged his nose with her own, pouting more now as she tried to hide her face, "Good job I was there to save your gorgeous ass," He whispered in her ear. Ella giggled and playfully whacked his chest.

"You always make things sexual," She muttered and he shrugged. He then lifted her face and pressed a soft kiss to her lips. Just enjoying being close to her now. It was something that was rare and he was more than happy to just enjoy the time that they did have together. He enjoyed being around her and with real life about to start, he wanted to make the most of the time they had.

"You need a mint," He joked softly as he pulled back. Ella let out a soft whine as she rolled onto her back. Very nearly falling off the bed until James grabbed her waist and pulled her back to face him, "I'm kidding," He muttered before he kissed her again. With slightly more passion, letting his tongue slide into her mouth. Exploring it as Ella's hand moved to run through his hair. A soft sigh of contentment leaving her lips as she briefly gave herself a moment to breathe. But she was quick to go back to kissing him. Her arms staying around him until the door opened. Ella let out a groan and rested her forehead against his. The Marauders' fifth roommate walking in.

"Oh, hi James," He muttered awkwardly. Ella gave him an awkward smile, burying her face as he shuffled around in search of something. Ella listened as the boy's exchanged words and then he eventually left. A soft chuckle escaping her lips as she shook her head.

"I didn't realise he wasn't in the exam," Ella muttered. James shrugged and peppered soft kisses across her face, his smile widening. He could feel the heat coming off her skin and the embarrassment only made him love her more.

"Oh well," He whispered as he moved his kisses to her jaw. Ella just allowed him to do so, letting her eyes close and enjoying his kisses. She had missed him far too much.
