(A/n): Names in this chapter do not exist

(Y/n)'s lips curled into a smile as the light breeze hit her face. She was out on the green field decorated with specks of pastel colors, and sat on a light blue picnic blanket with a few of her favorite books in hand. Including the one the Hogwarts headmaster gave her.

Wildflowers swayed with the wind around her, the long grass waltzing in sync. The sunset that seemed to envelop the whole atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous. The sun in the middle glowing red as the sky gleamed yellow and pink.

However, it wasn't that late, it was only about 4 pm.

Ron told the girl that she could go wherever she pleased in the area, and this particular spot seemed to be her cup of tea today.

(Y/n) took a deep breath, the scent of daisies and tulips lingering in the air. Oh, how she loved to be here. The Weasleys were certainly perfect. Their loving family, their attitudes towards her, their home, their food, and everything else that you could think of. She definitely did not want to leave anytime soon.

She leaned on the basket she brought, turning her book, 'Vaywe Nedapila', to the page where she left off. She enjoyed a few more minutes in silence until someone placed themselves right behind her. Quick to notice, (Y/n) glanced towards the newcomer, raising her brows in surprise.

"Ah, Charlie? What brings you here?"

The redhead nervously chuckled, hand on his nape, "Oh er, Bill sent me to tell you that he couldn't make it because work came up last minute. He said he's sorry he couldn't join you and that maybe next time it'd be possible."

Speaking of Bill, Charlie was surprised that he had actually talked to her - especially since she was someone new. His brother has always been reserved after the.. incident. With the people at his school. It was rare for him to share more than a few words with someone he has never known before. Perhaps the two of them had underestimated the girl. She had to be something if she could win his brother over.

Upon hearing the news, (Y/n) frowned a little in disappointment, shutting her book close once again. The two had discussed their next meeting quite recently and she was really looking forward to it, to say the least.

Noticing her expression falter, the boy hurriedly added, "He said it was delightful to spend time with you last week- so maybe he will hang out with you more this week-"

(Y/n) pursed her lips, quickly regaining her composure when she sensed his panic, "It's not a problem, no worries. I'll be sticking around for a few more days anyway... On a side note, have you got time to spare?"

The Weasley was taken aback by her sudden question, "...Time? To spare? Yeah, I mean, sure. I don't think I have anything else to do, why do you ask?"

He shrugged, shaking off his nervousness.

(Y/n) grinned, "Care to join me? Of course, there's nothing much to do here than talk or munch on a few things I have so I really don't mind if you're not interested."

Charlie paused, but who was he to reject such an offer made by his guest?

He hummed, hiding a smile that slowly crept onto his face, "Sure, I'll join you. Don't mind if I do."

He chuckled, plopping down next to the younger individual, sinking onto the soft material. Not wanting to be awkward, his attention diverted to the books she brought.
