"Firs' yea' her', firs' yea' her', clim' ont' th' boa'!" shouted Hagrid, over the sea of heads. It was far crowded than the numbers (Y/n) had expected. She didn't know there were so many people who boarded the train - perhaps they got on before she did. (Y/n) sighed, she could barely see anything! The man she knew as Hagrid, however, was far taller than the rest - it'd make sense since he's sort of like a giant, is he not? This may probably be the only time she wished she was a giant as well.
Ron winced as he got shoved by the people behind him, "Someone stepped on my bloody foot!"
"Quit whining, Ronald," Hermione scolded.
"But I can barely stand on my own two feet!" Ron complained.
(Y/n) herself was struggling to move through the crowd. She felt as if she was drunk - stumbling, and staggering due to getting pushed around by multiple people at once. About time I sprawl all over the goddamn floor, she scowled.
To her astonishment, she felt her hand being taken by someone, cutting her thought short. Startled, she glanced up, "Oh. It's you. Thank you, Oliver. My lord, and savior at this very fine moment."
The girl cheekily grinned.
Oliver Wood grinned back, keeping her steady, "It's no problem at all. I didn't think I'd run into you here. Hang onto me until we get onto the boats - the benefit of being taller, eh?"
(Y/n) laughed, holding onto his forearm, "Sure sure."
Smiling kindly, Oliver helped her walk through the never-ending number of people, gently moving a few students out of the way. As soon as the boats came into view, (Y/n) smiled in excitement, clasping his hands in hers, "I appreciate your help, Oliver. Now I really must find my friends - I'll see you at Hogwarts, won't I?"
"You will, of course. Who could get rid of this handsome face?" he joked, lightly reddening under her delicate touch.
(Y/n) rolled her eyes, beaming, "Whatever you say." Then she ran off to a waving Hermione, who was waiting with the two boys she met on the train.
Hermione shot a smile at (Y/n), offering her hand to help her get on their boat. As the four sat, and talked excitedly, Hermione sat beside (Y/n), "I have the History of Hogwarts book, if you'd like to read it someday."
(Y/n) gasped excitedly, "You've read that too? I'm so glad we both like books."
"Oh, we share the same taste then! I admit, it's finally nice to see I'm not the odd one out."
...
"Nerds," Ron muttered under his breath, breaking their moment of peace.
The two girls were quick to glare at him, making him shift uncomfortably under their sharp stares. He nervously scratched his ear before Harry elbowed him in the side.
"What? Not you too," the ginger groaned.

After a few more minutes that felt like hours to the anticipating children, Hogwarts appeared behind a curtain of fog, looming over the rest of the structures. Everyone gawked at the school or rather, a castle. It was far more gorgeous than what (Y/n) had expected. A million times, even. She knew she wouldn't be disappointed, nor did she think she'd ever get tired of seeing the exterior for the first time again every year. At this point, it was safe to say Hogwarts was the place for her.
"Oh, it's beautiful.." the girl whispered.
Harry smiled at her with a gentle look in his eyes, "Yeah, beautiful.."

As the new students finally arrive at the door of the great hall of Hogwarts, they formed groups, anxiously whispering among each other. There were various topics at hand, ranging from "What do you think is for dinner?" to "What house do you think you'll get sorted into?". (Y/n) was one of these students, unable to contain her excitement.
