One look out the window, and the young girl was sold. The weather may come off as gloomy to some. But to (Y/n), it was simply delightful. Gray skies with a few number of clouds, the pitter patter of light rain, the chill in the air, oh she could go on, and on about it. It was the perfect time to read her favorite books, she decided.
So that's what she did. As (Y/n) got comfortable in her compartment, she took out her book, and silently read while the wind gently blew against her soft hair. She snuggled up in the corner, sighing in content. After all, there was almost nothing to be sad or mad about on this fine day. She's off to her favorite school, the weather's perfect, she made new friends, her book is great.. anyway.
After a second or two of complete peace, the door slid open. (Y/n), too lost in her own world, didn't really notice until the person at the door spoke up, "Uh..hi."
(Y/n) snapped her head up to the source of the voice, suddenly feeling much more alert than before. Two boys, who look like her age, were standing at the entrance of her compartment. One had black raven hair with round glasses, and the other had fiery red hair, like Percy's.
Another Weasley, the girl thought. Just how many of them are there?
As she inspected both males, she noticed a scar on the dark-haired one, in the shape of a lightning. (Y/n) raised her brows in acknowledgement, wondering how on earth Harry Potter ended up right in front of her by fate. It's not like she worshipped the boy like some others do, but she held great respect, and curiosity for him ever since she heard about him from all around her.
As for the Weasley, (Y/n) smiled, taking note of the freckles that littered his face. He was adorable, and he definitely looked younger than Percy. The boy grinned back shyly, almost as if he was sorry that they had to barge in on her.
In return, the young males were observing her as well. They studied her features carefully, really taking in her appeareance. She was very pretty, anyone can admit that. Even timid Harry over there, hummed as a gesture of surprise. It was safe to say the redhead had the same reaction as well, almost nervously staggering when she smiled at him. He found himself unable to form a single word so he decided to grin back at her instead.
"Well don't just stand there, come on in," (Y/n) gestured warmly at the two. This caught their attention, stopping their gawking instantly. The newcomers shuffled, struggling to put down their baggage, and later sitting down stiffly.
"Do make yourselves at home. Would you want to introduce yourselves while you're at it?" (Y/n) smiled, hoping to reduce the tension among the three.
There was an exchange of glances between the two newcomers before the redhead spoke first, "I'm Ronald Weasley. ..Bloody hell that sounded weird. Just call me Ron." He grimaced.
(Y/n) was the one who shot a grin this time, "Ron. I like it. I'm (Y/n), (Y/n) Sylferth."
Ron's eyes went as wide as saucers. One could say that it was partly because she was a Sylferth, but the other half was because she rolled his name off her pretty lips. It sounded unexpectedly nice to him.
"Sylferth? You're barking mad!" he uttered.
On the contrary, Harry's eyes moved between the both of them, confused. Am I supposed to know the Sylferths? He gulped, I hope it doesn't offend her.
Luckily, (Y/n) didn't seem to mind his lack of reaction. She chuckled towards Ron, "The last time I checked, no. I'm not mad, Ron. Anyway, what is your name?"
She made a hand motion towards the male with glasses, acting as if she didn't know who he was. She really wanted to be polite, it'd be rude to just act as if she knew everything about him right from the start after all.
