(Y/n) left her bedroom with her suitcase, and Elmo's cage, rushing down the stairs to hop into her father's muggle car. Even if they were the most famous pureblood family, not to mention that all of her family members were Slytherin, they didn't define people by their blood status, and were fairly interested in no-majs. Her father held her hand throughout the whole journey to King Cross station, trying to ease her nerves while her mother told her how proud she is to have a daughter like her. The three were quite a warm family who loved each other very much.

As soon as she arrived at the station, excitement ran through her veins. Unable to wait for the trip to Hogwarts, she exited the car quickly yet properly waving goodbye to her parents, exchanging kisses, and then ran through the wall with her baggage. She was not looking forward to this part but it didn't let her down for even a mere second. Her jaw went agape as she gawked at the gorgeous red, and black train that came into view.

Hogwarts Express..

The train was much more beautiful than any description she's ever heard. She could only hope Hogwarts was a trillion times wonderful than what she had just spotted. Just then, someone tapped on her shoulder, breaking her enchanted state. This made (Y/n) turn around, facing a certain boy with fiery red hair who now looked taken aback by her appearance. But it was not a new reaction at all of course, as you - dear reader, is simply a beaut.

In (Y/n)'s perspective, she carefully analyzed his image. He seemed to be a couple years older, and he really looked stressed out for some reason. She hummed in confusion.

This made him regain his composure.

"Excuse me, miss. You're a first-year, aren't you? The first years should board the train in half an hour. I'm just here to remind you. I'm Percy. Percy Weasley." said the boy, extending his hand.

That explains his red hair, the female thought as she took his hand in hers. She has heard of the Weasleys quite often, her mother was fond of them. If the girl wasn't wrong, her mother would visit Percy's mother, Molly, very often to have girls' talk over tea. (Y/n) usually heard about the topic of their desires whenever she returned home.

"(Y/n) er.. (Y/n) Sylferth", she replied, now shaking his hand.

Now it was Percy's turn to gape at the younger girl. He could say nothing else but think, Bloody hell, a Sylferth? The descendant of the great Edern? Here at Hogwarts? He couldn't believe his ears! It's not like he hasn't seen (M/n) Sylferth in his family's dining room every Friday but for him to meet her daughter? He almost thought it'd be impossible since someone like (Y/n) could be enrolled in Beauxbaton.

"Did I hear you right? Are you really? I'm so honored to meet you, Miss Sylferth," he bowed, hoping to leave an impression.

(Y/n) chuckled, "No need for bowing - and you can just call me (Y/n)..we're all the same you know."

The redhead grinned in reply, starting a new conversation.

As the pair carried on chatting for a minute or two, asking each other about how their families were like, Percy Weasley began to wonder why she was nothing like those snobby Slytherins he met at school. People's descriptions of her were just plain false. It was always either "I bet the descendant will be a snobby, rich brat" or "I heard it's a girl. Probably spoiled. Filthy scum." but she didn't even define people by their blood status at all. He had a feeling she had an air of superiority that revolves around her that she didn't quite realize herself, but either way, everyone would get along great with her.

This struck an idea in Percy's head. He really had to impress her this instant. He puffed out his chest slightly, in a proud demeanor, "Have I mentioned I'm a pre-"

Unfortunately for him, someone interrupted him as quickly as he started, "A prefect. Yes yes, everyone knows, Percy. You don't have to go off blabbering to some poor girl. You're probably talking her ear off."

(Y/n) took note of the underlying playful tone, and turned around to get a peek of the newcomer. The boy, she has never seen before, had brown eyes, and equally brown hair, leaning on a foot with crossed arms. Despite the smirk displayed on his face, he seemed to be quite a kind character. When he noticed she was studying him, he beamed back at the girl, trying not to seem rude.

"Oh come on, Wood, shuck off," Percy replied, rolling his eyes, although the grin the redhead gave him, gave away that they were good friends.

(Y/n) shot the boy a small smile, extending her hand.

""Wood"? What's your first name? I'm (Y/n) Sylferth, it's truly a pleasure to meet you."

Just like the reaction the Weasley gave her, the boy's jaws went slack.

"Oh- a Sylferth? Er- I'm Oliver. Oliver Wood. It's a pleasure to meet you as well."

The boy smiled in awe. Just like other people, he looked up to Edern, you see. There was practically no one who haven't heard of him, but that wasn't the only reason he was in awe. It may be too weird to say out loud but the latest descendant of Edern was quite pretty as well. Prettier than he expected, for sure.

He shook her hand in a dazed manner before talking about their future at Hogwarts, curious to know more about the younger girl.

But not a few minutes later, the train blew its horn. "Oh, I better go," said (Y/n), waving goodbye. "I'll see you at Hogwarts?"

"I'll see you at Hogwarts."
"Of course."

She grinned at the two of them before rushing towards the Hogwarts Express, They really are nice. Can't believe I've made two new friends already.

"Ollie?"

The said boy didn't reply.

"Ollie," Percy called again.

No response.

"BLOODY HELL OLIVER."

Oliver snapped his head towards the direction of the prefect. "Huh, what?"

The redhead shook his head in disapproval, "Jeez, what were you thinking about? We need to go too y'know. You're literally the quidditch captain, you attend Hogwarts, remember? Now c'mon."

He tugged at the brown-eyed boy, and pulled him in before the train could leave its station. Percy was quite a fool. A fool who missed the way Oliver's eyes made sure to observe the young girl in admiration, although he himself would never admit that in person. Perhaps Oliver was a fool too, similarly missing the way Percy glanced at every person that passed their compartment, hoping it was the girl they just met.
