The phone rang a few times before my mom finally answered. I could hear crying and screaming coming from the background. "Hi, baby," she responded sounding somewhat tired. "Its nice for you to call, but right now isn't the time." I sat down in my office chair, the cool leather hitting my exposed back. I could hear dad's voice in the background but couldn't make out what he said to save my life. "Please tell me that Oliver's heat has ended? As much as I love Mason, I need a break from kids."

I couldn't help but chuckle at her. "Weren't you just saying last week how excited you were for us to have kids," I asked her, earning a scoff as I twisted her words against her. It's been five long days since Oliver went into heat, and four of those days, Mason has been at my parents house. We didn't want him here where he could potentially walk in on us mating with Oliver. That would scar the poor kid. If I had to guess by the screaming and the exasperated sounds of my mother, I'd say Mason was done waiting to come home. "Oliver's heat is over. We're getting some food in him and washing up some blankets then we'll be over." Mom let out a relieved sigh before I could hear my dad yelling for Mason. I heard sniffles a lot closer to the phone. "Mom, let me talk to him," I told her. The sniffles got louder, signifying Mason was now on the phone. "Hey, Mason. We're gonna come get you in a bit."

"W-Where's M-Mom-Mommy," He asked in such a broken voice. If it wasn't for the fact I knew he just flipped on my parents, I would say he sounded adorable. "I want Mommy." I tried to shush him over the phone as he began to cry again.

"Mommy, Zander, and I are gonna come get you, but I need you to be good for Grandma and Pappy okay," I asked him. I heard a deep snuffle before he hummed in agreement. I could hear him calming down as my parents let out a sigh. "We'll be there in a little bit, okay?"

"Can we get ice cream," Mason asked me. I chuckled at the resemblance to Oliver. The first thing Oliver asked for this morning, had been ice cream. When I told him yes, a little giggle sounded from his side. I went to hang up when something he said made me pause. "Bye, Daddy!" I didn't even get to ask about it before the phone call ended.

I sat in my chair and looked at the phone for a second. I couldn't help the smile that slowly spread across my face. Noctis was howling happily in my head. "You look really happy," a heavenly voice said, making me look up. Oliver smiled at me before walking over to me. He had love bites all over his torso and he was only partially dressed, but his hair was washed and combed. He sat in my lap and wrapped his arms around my neck. "I hope that grin isn't just because you've had sex with me so often," He said with a pout on his lips.

I kissed his pouty lips before pulling back. "As much as Zander and I loved pleasuring you these past few days, that's not the reason I'm smiling," I told him. Oliver looked at me confused as I smiled at him wider. "Mason called me "Daddy"." Oliver's face looked shocked for a moment before a smile covered his face as well. "I know! Its so exciting." I squeezed Oliver in a hug before moving him to stand up. I stood up as well and kissed his head. "But we have to go get him. He misses you."

Oliver smiled before grabbing my hand. "I miss him too," he said, leading me out the room. He lead us into our room before walking over to his dresser. He started pulling out some shirts, and I watched him in awe. Zander and I were lucky to have him as our mate. "You know," He started snapping me from my thoughts. He kept his back towards me as he slid on a black long sleeve shirt. It was starting to warm up a little bit, but the February winds still had you shiver in the cold. "Mason asked me  about that before I went into heat." He looked over at me before sighing. He walked over to me and pushed me towards my dresser. I couldn't help but chuckle at how he put so much effort into pushing me, but if I really wanted to be mean, all I had to do was not go where he wanted me to. I started pulling out some clothes and looked at my mate, who fiddled with his thumbs. "Hey, Xavier?" I walked over to him and took his hands into mine, looking at him curiously. He looked nervous which had me slightly worried. "Would you say you guys are ready for a baby?"

The question made me pause for a moment. We hadn't taken any precautions during his heat, and we didn't even talk about it with him before he went into heat. I glanced down at my mate to see him even more nervous than before. I squeezed his hands reassuringly. "As long as you're here with us, I'm sure we are more than ready to have a child," I told him. He scoffed at my answer looking down. I lifted his head up by his chin, making him look at me. "I can't promise you that Zander and I will be ready for a kid, because the truth is, nobody is ever really ready for one. I can promise you, that no matter what we will do everything and anything for you, Mason, and however many pups the goddess blesses us with. We will always be excited have you carry our children."

Oliver nodded at me, a small smile on his lips. I looked behind him and saw Zander standing in the doorway. He quickly rushed over and hugged our mate. "He's exactly right," Zander said, nuzzling his face into our mates neck. "We would love for you to get pregnant and have our pups. We are more than excited for you to get pregnant and we will always be ready for it." He started swaying Oliver by his hips and I couldn't help but roll my eyes at his childish behavior. I quickly slipped on my clothes before rejoining the two, who happened to make their way downstairs. "Hurry up! We got to go get Mason!"

The whole way to get Mason, I couldn't help but think about having kids with Oliver. There was a very high chance that within this next week, we'd find out he was pregnant. We focused more on making sure he ate and stayed hydrated that he hasn't taken his birth control since it started. Would our pups take after him, or us? Oliver's genes pretty much dominated when it came to Mason, so maybe they'd look more like him. I'd love for our kids to get his skin tone and hair. I loved how curly his hair was, just like my mother's hair. Maybe the curls would pop through.

Just as we pulled into my parent's driveway, my phone went off. I looked down at the screen before smiling to myself. "I have to take this, but you guys go on ahead," I told the others as I stepped out the car. Is it her, Zander asked making me nod. Oliver looked at us confused as Zander urged him into the house. I immediately answered the call and put the phone to my ear. "Hey. Sorry, Oliver went into heat last week and it just now ended or I would've called earlier, but we would still love for you to come down."

"Are you sure Oliver won't be mad," the woman on the other line asked me. I could hear some laughter on the other end of the line as the woman paused. "I was nothing but mean to him last time I saw him."

"Trust me when I say, he holds no grudge against you, Keira," I told her. Keira was supposed to come down last week to come see Oliver after so long, but with his heat hitting, all plans flew out the window. "He made sure we all know who you are. You're still his family, and he cares about you so much." I heard her take a deep breath. When she first got a hold of me, she explained how guilty she felt for treating Oliver, but didn't know how to face him and apologise. Zander and I were both nervous and excited to get her down here for our mate. Keira told us about the last time they talked and the harsh words she had said and wished she could take back, but Oliver never once mentioned the encounter. He only spoke highly of her. I wasn't sure if he wanted to forget what she said or if he held a grudge over it and didn't want anyone else to know. Since her visit is a complete surprise for him, we had no idea how he would react.  "So when would you like to come down?"

"We can be there in two days. Just have to make a training plan for my substitute," She responded. I could see Mason waving to me from the porch in Oliver's hold and I waved back to him as I quickly said my goodbyes to Keira. She'll be here Thursday, I linked to Zander who smiled at me.
