Finley's POV:

Daddy carried me downstairs into the kitchen.

The smell of bacon and eggs filled my nostrils, and my stomach immediately growled.

Daddy chuckled as he placed me in a highchair.

I started whining and try to get out.

"Calm down Bubba, I'm only putting you here so I can get your food. I'll take you out when I get back." Daddy said as he ruffled my hair.

I pouted but stayed still.

I heard tiny feet start running towards the kitchen.

The feet stopped right in front of me.

Ameer was staring at me with wide eyes and a busted lip.

I could tell he wasn't in little space anymore... Damn.

He just gave me a sad smile and went to sit in a chair.

I just watched him do so.

"Ameer baby, how do you want your eggs?" I heard Uncle Orion say from the kitchen.

"Scrambled." Ameer mumbled out.

Obviously, Uncle Orion couldn't hear what he said so he came to the table and asked again.

Ameer put his face to the table and repeated himself.

"Did you say sorry to Ameer?" Daddy asked as he picked me up and placed me on his lap.

I shook my head no, and tried to reach for my bacon.

"Nah uh, you don't get any until he's apologized to." Daddy said sternly.

"Rewlly?" I pouted.

"Yes really." Daddy replied.

I really want bacon, but I really don't want to apologize to this lying shack of shi-

"I'm sorry, Finley." I heard a small voice say.

I turned my head towards Ameer.

He had no sign of remorse at all on his amazing face.

I swear to god-

"Yeah same here I guess." I mumbled out.

I was starting to slip out of headspace... Can you blame me? Everyone in this damn house is always trying to get me in trouble.

Dad has so many rules that you can't even wrap your head around them.

Ameer is just begging to get socked in the fucking face.

And Uncle Orion, well he's just Uncle Orion.

He has never really tried to get me in trouble. More like prevent me from it.

All the guards here are PUSSYS by the way PUSSYSSSS!

I'll say it again.... PUSSYSSSS!

God, it's like if they take their eyes off me for a second they'll get their face shot off.

So annoying having someone watch you all the time.

And Addison.

Don't even get me started.

"Can I have my bacon now?" I huffed out.

All this thinking is hurting my brain.

"No, I want you to look at Ameer and say that you're sorry." Daddy said sternly.

I threw my head back and blinked a few times.

I looked at Ameer, and said the following.

"I'm sorry, Ameer. For kicking you in the face for being a lying backstabber." I huffed out.

Daddy popped my thigh and gave me a stern look.

I looked at Ameer and he was just nodding his head blinking a few times.

"You don't know what's going on, Finley." Ameer said quietly.

He got up and threw the chair to the ground.

He went to the back door, he slung it open then he slung it closed.

Uncle Orion sighed and mumbled out a load of cuss words.

He slammed his utensils down and went towards the back door.

"You don't get any bacon." Daddy huffed out as he picked me up and placed me in the corner.

I whined and threw myself onto the floor.

"Get up now." Daddy said sternly.

I got up quickly and put my nose in the corner.

Ameer's POV:

Only if Finley knew what was really happening!

He wouldn't be like this to me, he wouldn't be mean...

It's all his fault.

I heard Papa come through the back door with a disappointing look on his face.

"Ameer..." He started saying.

"I know, I need to control my emotions. Don't mention it." I huffed out as I sat down on the steps.

"It's not just that, what was Finley talking about? I know you know that I don't know what you know and what he knows and I demand to know." Papa said sternly.

"That's a lot of knows." I mumbled out.

"I want to know." Papa replied.

The thing with Papa is, he's very... What's the word.

Ignorant nowadays.

What I mean by that is he doesn't know how to talk like other people, he's very old school.

"Papa, you don't want to know." I mumbled to him.

"I do want to know, because whatever is going on I'll make it stop." He said promisingly.

It's true, he will.

One time when I was younger, I got yelled at by my teacher for something stupid.

I think it's because I brought a spider to that class.

Anyways, I went home in tears because I had to let go of my spider.

Papa wouldn't stop bugging me until I told him what happened.

And when I did, he went ballistic.

The next day my teacher wasn't there.

I know papa means well, and I love him for it. But he just doesn't know how to control HIS emotions.

He's very patient, but very demanding.

Guess we can have that in common.

I'm not a crazy psychotic person everyone makes me out to be.

Hell, I make myself out to be.

It's all his fault. If it wasn't for him, I would be... normal.

"I won't push you, Ameer, but I will find out." Papa said calmly.

You won't.

How can you not have already found out?

Do the scars just blend in together now?
