We were all dressed in black outfits. I put on a black jumpsuit that was pretty cute.

I left my hair down and walked back downstairs. Everyone was wearing something black or grey. Keefe looked really nervous, but also determined. I studied him, trying to figure out how he react to the fact that he had a child, when Tam grabbed my hand and smirked.

"Don't tell me you think hE's cute." He shadow-whispered. I blushed.

"No! Of course not! I'm trying to figure out how he'll react."

He raised his eyebrow. I sighed and hugged him. "I'm sorry. You know I want to tell you! I just can't! It!s not my secret to tell."

He nodded, "I know. Sophie would appreciate it."

As the clock hit 10, we made out way over to Mr. Forkle, who had the crystal. He raised it to the light of the lamps around the room and pulled us into the light.

We got to the hideout, and the door wasn't even locked. We looked at each other suspiciously. This was strange. We wandered around and encountered no one. We eventually stumbled into a room and we saw Sophie, lying in a bed. It was a nice room. It was decorated in blues with a nice bed. Her chest was rising and falling, so she was alive.

Sophie's room:

Keefe ran over to her

Keefe ran over to her.

"Is she asleep or sedated?" He asked quickly.

Mr. Forkle walked over. He looked at her for a minute. "She's sedated."

We all sighed, remembering just how much Sophie hates sedatives. Keefe picked her up and we all ran outside. We got a little ways away from the hideout and Sophie started to stir. Keefe set her down and she bolted up as if someone and shocked her awake. She shot up and muttered, "Alexandria I swear to god I'm gonna kill you." She looked around and saw us and smiled. "Hi guys," We all hugged her. Then she looked around and saw me. Panic filled her eyes. "You left them there? I mean, they'd be safe but I can't leave them obviously." I knew what she was talking about, but everyone looked at her like she'd gone crazy. She stood up, almost fell but Keefe caught her arm. She steadied herself, took a deep breath and told us, "Sorry guys." Then sprinted off back towards the hideout. Everyone knew exactly what to do. We locked hands in a circle and leaped back to the hideout. Sophie almost ran into all of us, so we kept out of the way. But my idiot brother stood in front of her.

"I'm sorry Sophie. I know you still hate me, but listen to me. You CAN'T go back in there. There's nothing in there for you."

Idiot. Sophie stiffened, and a cold look set over her eyes. Everyone backed away, scared. Except for me and Keefe. I know she wouldn't hurt either one of us.

"Fitzroy Avery Vacker." She said coldly, which surprised everyone because no one used his full name. "You have to two choices. Get. Out. Of. My. Way. Or you get knocked down along with anyone else who tries to stop me."

Fitz thought for a second and stayed still. Sophie sighed. "I didn't want to do this, but your not giving me a choice."

I knew what she was going to do before she even did it. She closed her eyes, and I watched as my brother fell to the ground in pain.

I know Sophie would never do this, but like, she's now a protective mother who won't let anyone get in the way of her getting to her kid.

Everyone gasped and Sophie stepped over Fitz and walked inside the hideout.

"Guys it ok. She won't hurt you if you let her do what she's here for. She has to get them back."

Me and the rest of the girls nodded. They understand why she was acting like this. I told my parents to stay with Fitz, and the rest of us followed Sophie inside. We heard blasts, and then silence. We saw Sophie standing up, holding a baby. She put the baby in my arms and told me, "Hold her." Then she turned around and grabbed one of the Neverseen members by their tunic and pressed a knife up against their throat.

"WHERE IS HE? WHY ISN'T HE HERE?" She screamed. Then the wimp fainted from fear. Sophie dropped them and muttered a curse. Then she walked over to another one of the members, and helped them up. Their hood feel off to reveal a girl with fruit punch color hair and powder blue eyes.

"Alexandria. Why'd you sedate me?"

The girl had been crying. "He-he told me you asked for it. I'm so sorry Soph."

Sophie - to all of our's surprise, hugged her. "It's ok Alex. But can you tell me where he is?"

At the mention of 'he' I realized that we wouldn't still be here if she wasn't still looking for one of her babies. Sophie had twins. I looked down at the baby girl in my arms, she did look like Sophie and Keefe. She had ice blue eyes, and a little tuff of blonde hair. When she smiled, it reminded me of Keefe's smirk. I smiled and poked her belly and she giggled. All the guys looked at me and the little girl in confusion. The girls all had huge smiles on their face, and Linh squealed. "Can I hold her?"

I love babies so much. They're the cutest little things.

I smiled but said, "Actually, I think Keefe should hold her first."

Again, the guys looked at me in confusion. They were so clueless, but I handed her to Keefe anyway. He looked down at her, and his eyes widened in shock. "Wha-what?" Everyone looked at him. "What?" Tam asked. We all passed her around, and as everyone looked at her, their eyes widened. When she got back to Keefe, everyone looked really surprised. Then Sophie walked over with the girl, and saw Keefe with the little girl. She smacked her face. She eyed me.

"I swear I didn't tell anyone. This girls figured it out the day you were taken though."

Sophie rolled her eyes and muttered. "I should've known."

Keefe looked at her, with their child in his arms, who had started to cry, and Sophie's face softened. She took the baby girl and rocked her a little, humming a song, and the little girl fell asleep. She looked up. "What?" Everyone was staring at her. Keefe looked like he was going to pass out. He looked around and found a bench. He walked over to it and sat down. Sophie sighed. She looked around and saw me again. She walked over to me. "Can you hold her? Her name is Megan by the way." I nodded, and looked at the baby girl. Megan. What a pretty name. I rocked her back and forth to keep her asleep. I looked over where Sophie seemed to be explaining things to Keefe. His face got back to normal, and I caught one part of their conversation.

"What's her name?" Keefe asked softly.

"Megan." Sophie responded.

"Who else were you looking for? You were asking where 'he' was."

Sophie bit her lip. "Don't freak out. I'm looking for her twin brother Nathen."

Evidently everyone else was listening to, because Linh squealed again, and Tam looked surprised. Everyone glanced over, and they both realized everyone had been listening.

Sophie walked back over to Fruit Punch. "Alex? Do you have an idea of where he is?"

The girl - Alex? Or was it Alexandria? I'm gonna call her Alex. Alex bit her lip.

"Well, said something about this place called Ni-"

"Woah woah woah." Keefe interrupted. "Who's he?"

Sophie and  Alex shrugged. Then Alex added, "No one knows. We just call him he. There's only like 5 people in our group so ya. He said something about a place called Nighfall."

Cute little babiessssss! I love babies. They're so cute! This chapter took like 2 hours to write it's so long. Or maybe I'm thinking of this chapter and the last two chapters 🤷🏼‍♀️
