royce groaned as she left the police station with her dad. "i feel so gross and sticky, i'm so showering when i get home".
"i mean yeah, you still have the pink thing all over you", johnny pointed out.
"i know smartass." royce said as she got into her dads car.

the pair got out of the car, while royce spotted miguel, she waved and smiled. which he gladly returned.
miguel came up to them, "i just wanted to say thank you for yesterday".
"alright well, you said it" johnny grumbled. royce shook her head and face palmed.
"what he means is, you're welcome", royce said to miguel.
miguel smiled, while the pair was walking away. he followed. "so last night, was that like, tae kwon do or jujitsu or MMA or something?", he rambled on.
johnny put his hand on the back of his neck, "it's karate, old school karate".
royce nodded. miguel paused for a moment.
"do you think you could teach me?" he asked.
johnny put the key into the lock of the apartment and looked back at miguel, "what? no", he denied.
miguel leaned his shoulders back a little, "come on. when school starts, those guys will make my life miserable".
"it's not my problem", johnny shrugged.
"dad, stop being rude, miguel don't worry. you'll have me" royce smiled at miguel.
"listen i'm thankful for that but still, if i just knew a little bit of what you knew, then i would be-"
"forget it!",johnny exclaimed, cutting off miguel.
"i don't do karate anymore, all right? besides i need to find a job." johnny told miguel.
miguel paused, "well, you could open your own karate school".
royce turned to her dad, "you know, that's not a bad idea".
"it's called a dojo"
"you could open your own dojo", miguel corrected himself.
"look, i'm not getting into this with you", johnny pointed out. he paused for a moment. "i'm not even sure i'm allowed to be around kids right now".
"all right, you want my advice? stop being annoying. maybe you'll stop getting your ass kicked", johnny said sternly. while walking away.
miguel looked disappointed, royce smiled sadly towards him, "i'm sorry about him, he's just fed up right now".
"it's alright" miguel mumbled.
"bye miggy, see you soon. i gotta wash this stuff off". royce said and walked away from him.
