This takes place after chapter 22
A couple pf days have passed by, the lion guard and the others journey is almost completed but they haven't rested since their land was taken over, the only one who is wide awake at this point is Rafiki.
"Rafiki, we are tired, could you at least slow down." Kiara said.
Rafiki points his finger up, "Nope, if we slow down now, we won't get there sooner." he said
"Well I guess that makes sense there." Kovu said..
"Rafiki, you're the only one that is energetic right now, do you know something about this?" Vitani asked.
"I knew Scar returned long before he attacked." Rafiki said.
"And you were planning to tell none of us?" Vitani asked.
Rafiki turns around, "Wrong, I told Simba." he said.
"And because of that, he's dead now." Vitani said.
"He would have been dead either way." Rafiki said
Vitani begins to snare her teeth "But we would have been prepared for a fight like this, at least prevent this from happening."
"But Scar has a roar, no chance there." Rafiki said
"I'll show you a roar." Vitani shakes her head in rage, clouds form in the background and quickly becomes dark and lightning strikes outside of it."
"Um Vitani." Kiara said looking at the clouds
Tazama steps in front of Vitani, "Hey calm down, he's just getting on your nerves." she said
Vitani shakes her head trying to get rid of her anger, the clouds dissipate and is clear again.
Rafiki turns back around, "Come on, we're close, no stopping now." he said
"You're okay now Vitani." Tazama asked
"I think so, I just hope he doesn't do that again." Vitani said
The group is close enough to see the mountain pass.
In the Tree of Life
Rani sits by the rocks looking up into the sky just wondering, Fuli walks near, "What you're watching?" Fuli asked
"Nothing, just the sky." Rani said
"Well, we just finished patrol and the animals are starting to suspect Kion." Fuli said
"Any of them starting to you know?" Rani said
"Most of them no, they are on our side about Kion, I'm just wondering how the word got out." Fuli said
"I have a general idea who it was, I don't blame her for being mad but just doesn't understand that it's not his fault, anything else?" Rani asked
"Not really, it's been quite peaceful." Fuli said
Ono flies down, "Hey, the lion guard from the Pridelands has entered with Nala, Rafiki, Kovu and Kiara." he said
Fuli and Rani looked at each other with a confused look, than Fuli looks back at Ono, "And Simba?" she asked
"I didn't see him." Ono said
"Is Kion with them?" Rani asked
"Didn't see him either." Ono said
"If they are here without Simba, than something happened at the Pridelands, we need to help them."
