Chapter Fourteen: New Companions

This takes place after chapter Thirteen

If you read the last four cutscenes in the last chapter, it will take place in this chapter

Kion is in the cave talking to Kiara about their older brother, "Kiara, someone showed me a third cub, who is he?" Kion asked
"Okay Kion, but I was very young, I only remember a glance of him, lets go to Rafiki, he should have more information about this." Kiara said
Kion and Kiara goes to Rafiki's tree, "Hey Rafiki, we need to talk to you." Kion yelled
"What's going on young Kion?" Rafiki asked
"It's about our brother, Kopa, Kion saw a third cub in the paintings and he wants to know more about it." Kiara said
"Oh, lets go to the lion guard lair, I have more information their." Rafiki said
Kion, Kiara and Rafiki walks in the lion guard lair, "Alright, I've hid this becasue Simba didn't want anyone to know about this but you two were soon to figure out." Rafiki said
Vitani walks up, "Kion, you're back, what happened?" she asked
"Oh, nothing." Kion said
Rafiki removes the the dust revealing the third cub, "Kopa, he isn't really your brother but at the same time he is." Rafiki said
"Kopa, that sounds familiar." Vitani said
"Yes, you may have know him too Vitani, now, Kopa, after the defeat of Scar and before Simba became king, both him and Nala found a stranded cub in the middle of the battle field, they didn't know who it belonged to, nor they didn't know if his parents would come back, so they took him in, raised him like he was their own." Rafiki said
"So Kopa is not my brother." Kiara said
"Yes and no, He is your brother because you grew up with him, but he's not because he's not part of your bloodline." Rafiki said
"This takes a lot to take in, but I have another question, why didn't I see him." Kion said
"When Kiara was born, Kopa was always adventurous, Kiara and Kopa always got along well, but then as Kopa grew up, he wanted to go on his own, when he told Simba that, this hurt him, but he knew he had to let him go, Kopa was old enough to go on adventures of his own, so Simba let him go, after that, he told me to cover all the paintings of Kopa, he didn't want anyone to know about his disappearance, not even his daughter, Kiara, who was too young to understand that, all that Kiara saw was that Kopa has never came to play with her, but then when Kion was born, she saw that she could be a big sister to him, that filled the empty spot in her heart." Rafiki explained
"It really didn't but it did help me forget about him, I just hope he would come back and visit." Kiara said
"He might, before he left, he told me that he would come back to visit, especially to see you Kiara." Rafiki said
"To see me, he loved me like I was his sister?" Kiara asked
"Yes he did, but exploring is his place in the circle of life." Rafiki said
Vitani looks at the paintings, "Kopa, was he supposed to be king of the Pridelands?" she asked
"No, Simba didn't want a strange cub to rule the Pridelands at that time." Rafiki said
"Oh yeah, speaking of ruling, Kion, Nemesis has Rani." Vitani said
"What, why did he take her?" Kion asked
"We've already figured out his plan, he's using her to get what he wants, we were going to save her but his uncle had he by the throat, he had to back off to save her." Vitani explained
"Well, I am going to save her." Kion said
"But Kion, do you have problems with her?" Vitani asked
"I don't know but I love her, so I am going to save her." Kion said
Vultures come in the lion guard lair, "Vitani, weird looking jackal animals are chasing the zebras." Mzingo said
"Great, this may be one of Nemesis' allies." Vitani said
Kion and Vitani walks out of the lair, Kion starts heading to the Outlands. Vitani starts looking for the weird jackal pack.

Vitani is looking for the pack, she has her lion guard with her, "Tazama, continue to look for the pack, and the rest of us should prepare for a fight." Vitani said
A few moments later, zebra herd is heard running, Tazama zooms in, she sees they are being chased by weird looking jackal pack, "The vulture is right, they are not jackals but they look like them." Tazama said
"Well they are in the Pridelands and they are hunting without our permission, we need to stop them now." Vitani ordered
Vitani runs down the hill, the rest of her guard runs with her, "Alright, Kasi run ahead, surround them." Vitani ordered
Kasi runs ahead to surround the intruders, Vitani catches up, "All of you, leave the zebras alone." Vitani ordered
One of the pack members of the weird looking jackals animals stops chasing, "EVERYONE STOP" she ordered
her pack stops chasing the zebras, the leader of the pack walks up to Vitani, "You must be the protector of this land, sorry to come in unannounced but our homes have been taken over." the leader said
"Why are you chasing the zebras?" Vitani asked
"They looked a little over populated, so we've decided to crunch the number a little." the leader said
"Okay, now another question, was your home taken over by a lion?" Vitani asked
"No, it was taken over by the same species as us, unfortetitly, our ways is not like most animals, only the strongest get the lands." The leader said
"Alright, I'm guessing the your the leader of this pack." Vitani said
"Actually, I'm considered as the alpha, my name is Kiba, and my mate her who is also an alpha is named Adolph." Kiba said
"What kind of animal are you? you kind of look like jackals to us, but at the same time, you're not." Vitani said
"We are considered african wild dogs, we hunt in a huge pack." Kiba said
"I see, but when you hunt next time, tell us." Vitani said
"Sure will, come lion, I would like to show you my pack." Kiba said
"Alright, I'll follow you, Kasi, you take charge and portal." Vitani ordered
Vitani walks with Kiba, "Alright, here's my pack." Kiba said
Vitani looks around, she sees a lot of wild dogs around her, "Wow, you pack is huge." Vitani said
"Yes it is, let me show you around, since we just moved in, it's not exactly perfect, but it's a start." Kiba said
"Yeah a start, this is actually a perfect place to start, very few animals roam around here." Vitani said
"We've noticed, let me show you around, that area right there is where we raise our young." Kaiba said
Vitani looks to sees a lot of puppies in one little area, "They're cute." she said
"And that area right there is where we heal the sick and injured." Kiba said
"Wow, you have a lot of injured here." Vitani said
"Yeah, that attack did hurt a lot of our pack, but our healer, she's the oldest among us, and she knows just about everything about healing." Kiba said
"Does she know how to cure Scorpion venom?" Vitani asked
"Yes she does actually, she's done it multiple times, but I don't remember what she used, lets go ask her." Kiba said
Vitani and Kiba walks to the oldest wild dog in the pack
"Hello, this is, I'm sorry lion, I didn't even ask your name." Kiba
"My name is Vitani." she said
The oldest wild dog starts speaking, "Ah, Vitani, I've heard of you, what are you here for?" she asked
"Yeah, that's my name, what yours?" Vitani asked
"Yes, my name is Ash, now what you're doing here Vitani." Ash asked
"Ash, I want to know how to cure scorpion venom." Vitani said
"Did you try volcanic ash?" Ash asked
"Yes we have, but our king is still sick and his recovery is too slow." Vitani said
"Yes, than you need these plants, this will cure the venom, take some, in fact, take all of them, he's a lion." Ash said
"Are you sure? I don't want to take the whole pile from you." Vitani said
"It's fine, I can always find more, it's quite a common flower at this time of the year." Ash said
Vitani grabs the entire pile of the flower and runs to pride rock
