Friday (Date Night)

The school was so boring. We got our grade back from the English project we did. We all got a 96. I wasn't really paying attention in any of my class because I was too excited for my date with Johnny. To be completely honest I was actually really nervous. I'm not sure why though, I've gone on plenty of dates before and I never get nervous. I decided to get ready now at 4:45 because I wanted to have enough time to take a nap. I was about to hop on the shower before I got a call.

"Hello"

"Y/n are you excited?!" Ali asked

"What are you gonna wear?" Susan asked

"Oh hi guys"

"Yeah hi whatever. Now what are you gonna wear?" Susan asked

"I'm not sure yet. I don't even know where we're going" I told her

"Why not?" Ali asked

"He won't tell me"

"We'll go pester him into telling you"

"Yeah. How will you know what to wear if you don't know where you are going?" Susan added

"Maybe I should call him"

"Yes you should"

"Well you guys have to hang up so I can call him"

"I expect you to be back home by midnight and to call us and tell us every detail"

"You're letting me stay out till midnight, how kind of you" I said jokingly

"Only the best curfew for my best friend"

"I think my best friend should tell me I don't have a curfew"

"Uh huh and let two smoking hot teens stay out all night long. No way" she said

"Aw you think I'm smoking hot Susie?"

"Of course. I'm not friends with ugly people"

"You were friends with Barbara"

"That's true but Friends of friends is different than hand selected friends"

"I get it."

"What time is your dad letting you stay out till"

"He's not home so I guess there's no set time. I just have to be responsible."

"And by that she means they're gonna have sex"

"Not uh Susan. Remember my rule?"

"I remember but maybe you'll make an exception for your new boy toy"

"No exceptions to the rules. Alright I'm hanging up now"

"Bye y/n have fun" Ali said

"Make sure you use protection and call us after" Susan said before hanging up. Once we hung up I dialed Johnny

"Hello?" He answered

"Hey blondie! I have a question"

"Ask away"

"Where are we going?"

"I can't tell you that"

"Why not? Are you planning to kill me or something?" I said half jokingly

"Let's go with 'or something'. I just want to surprise you"

"I like surprises but I need to know where we're going so I know what to wear"

"Ughh fine. Just have a bathing suit underneath whatever you're wearing?"

"Ok I will"

"Good"
