I quickly posted before I greeted my first customer.
"Hello." I smiled.
"Hey, this place is gorgeous, do you sell coffee cupcakes?" A little old lady asked.
"Yeah, we do, here." I said leaning over and pointing to the mountains of cupcakes shelved.
"Amazing, I'll take six please." She beamed.
Boxing them up, I popped them into a paper pink bag and she paid before leaving.

The day went by very very fast. It was so busy.
It was nearing 8pm and I was getting ready for close when the door to the store opened.
"Lacey!" A familiar voice spoke out.
"Will! Hey you!" I grinned.
"Hey lass, this place looks great. How much persuasion did it take your Mam to call it wake & bake?" Will laughed leaning on the counter, arms folded as I tidied a few things up.
"Well... the Amsterdam story eventually came out, surprisingly, they found it hilarious!" I said.
"Oh I love Trace!" He grinned. "Right, I need all your cupcake and brownies left." He said.
"Sorry?" I questioned as I wiped the counter.
"I need the rest of your cupcake and brownies leftover from today." He repeated.
"Your one weird guy." I said as I began boxing his request.
"Thank you, how's the new place?" He asked.
"Oh it's amazing! Really quiet area, couldn't ask for anything better." I said.
"Good! I'll pop over soon." He said. Nodding, I finished boxing up everything. "How much?" He asked.
"No, no. It's on me. Family discount and all." I saluted.
"Shut up you fool. Here." He said taking out £100 in notes.
"No." I said flatly.
"Yes." He said trying to reach over to me.
"N.O." I said shooting him a glare. Will climbed onto the counter and I looked up at him in shock. "Your such a dick, get down!" I said swatting him with my cloth.
"Oww you stupid bitc-." "Will?" A lads voice said from the door, cutting Will off.
I peered my head around Will's legs when- oh my god it's the guy from Instagram.
Holy shit.
"Oh hey Harry." Will said, climbing down.
"Hey... what's going on here?" He laughed.
"Nothing much, ey Lacey." Will said as he slapped the notes in my hand.
"Knob." I muttered putting the money in the till.
"I saw your page on Instagram! Love the name!" The guy spoke up.
"Course you do." Will laughed.
"Oh, thank you." I laughed.
"I'm Harry." He smiled.
"Lacey." I blushed. He is so god damn attractive.
"Do you two know each other?" Harry spoke up.
"Oh shit, sorry lad, this is my cousin, Lacey." Will spoke up.
"Fuck off! Is this the one you've been hiding?!" Harry laughed. I looked between them both and shot Will a look. Hiding?
"Oh come on lad." Will groaned.
"Hiding?" I spoke up, my turn to rest my head in my hands as I leant on the counter.
"Oh ye-." "Shut up Harry. Come on let's go." Will said cutting off Harry.
"But I wanted to get-." "Go." Will cut him off.
"Bye Lacey!" Harry called out, as Will pushed him out the door. "Bye!" I laughed to them both.
Finishing up tidying and shutting up, I locked my place before heading off home.
