A few weeks since pub golf had passed and I had been very busy with work.
My Dad was doing business in London so he decided we would have a Father daughter day.
The weather was awful. We were currently shopping in London.
"So, can I see Harry again?" He spoke up as we were Stood in Selfridges.
"Huh?" I laughed.
"Harry, your boyfriend?" He said, looking up at me from the clothes rail he was stood looking at.
"No, I know who Harry is Dad. I meant huh, how on earth have you remembered him, let alone want to see him again?" I said shaking my head.
"I really like him!" He said.
"Well... he likes you too." I confirmed.
"So...." he trailed off.
"Yes, I'll call him." I laughed as he continued shopping.
Picking out my phone I pressed Harry's contact.
"Hey Lace." His voice spoke through.
"Hey H. You free today?" I asked.
"I can be, what's up?" He asked.
"My dads here, he wants to see you again." I said.
"Phoar, just your dad, not even you." He said.
"Fair point. Yeah, just Dad." I joked.
"Where you at now?" He asked, rustling around.
"Selfridges, should we meet you at Nobu?" I suggested.
"Good call, yeah I'll be there in twenty. Love you." He said.
"Love you too." Clearing the line I looked behind for my dad. Oh where has he wandered too now.
"Sooo, is he coming?" He asked.
"Christ, you're like a child." I laughed. "Meeting him at nobu in twenty." I told him.
"Ohh, let's go now then." He said.
We walked to Nobu and got a table while we waited for Harry, who minutes later rocked up.
"Hey Adam." Harry said walking over to the table. They done the bro hug. Oh Christ.
"Hey, Harry. How've you been?" He asked as Harry sat down next to me.
"Yeah, I've been good, you?" He asked taking off his coat.
"Yeah, good man." My dad and Harry conversed while I ordered us some wine.
"Hey ladies, what food are you ordering?" I interrupted.
"You choose sweet." My dad said, Harry giving me a little grin.
I ordered us all some food when I began engaging more in the conversation.
"Wait, you have a place in Guernsey?" Harry said.
"Yeah, a holiday home. Lace used to love the beaches there when she was little, too cool for the beaches now." Dad said.
"No way! You'll have to go back there and come meet my parents too!" He said.
"We can Deffinitley arrange that." My dad said popping a note in his phone.
Oh my god.
I love this guy.
The food arrived and we all spoke about random things. Well, I say we, more Harry and Dad. Dad is a big football fan so that sparked some conversation between them.
We finished up, and headed off. Dad was getting the train to wherever this evening, so Harry suggested we drop him off.
So we did, Harry drove my Dad to the train station, imagine, I got forced into the backseat. My dad called shot gun.
Rude.
We dropped him off, hugs between the three of us exchanged.
"Bye, I love you." I shouted to my Dad as he walked through the station doors, looking back laughing I grinned.
"Want to come to up to mine. Ethan and Cal are wanting to film a video." He said as we got back into his car.
