Harris closed the door behind him softly. It was 3:30 am and he felt extremely sleepy. This was the second most longest day of his entire life. The first was the day Vania left Karachi. He could never forget that day. The day he thought he lost her forever.

He would never forget today as well. The day he found that he never lost her, that she was always his. He sighed in relief.

Today, was also the most revealing day. The questions he had been asking himself for years were finally answered. He couldn't thank Allah enough for this chance of meeting Vania in Lahore. For making her weak in that moment when she called him. If she hadn't done that he'd still be at Major Afiq's house, sulking in his room, catering to his bleeding heart with melancholic tunes on his guitar, thinking of Vania with that chuza Waqas. Torturing himself with made up scenarios. While Vania would be struggling here, taking care of this family, trying to be strong.

He took nimble footsteps to go downstairs to the lounge and dropped on the three-seater sofa. His mind vaguely recalled Zainab said something about sleeping in Zeeshan's room but he was too tired to move.

Closing his eyes, he massaged the side of his temples. The cut on his hand stung a little under the bandage so he placed it on his chest, regretting hitting the car without noticing the egde of the wiper.

Harris breathed in relaxing and letting exhaustion drag him down in the realm of dreams.

Where it was them and no distance, no complications, no barriers, no walls of fear, no ego, no guilt.

Them and their love. Pure and simple.

KARACHI

After throwing the pillow on the door, Airaa closed her eyes tightly shut. She feared Aylaa's words would come true. Her brain would conjure up peculiar dreams of that stupid, idiot and his crazy antics.

She shifted to her right mumbling to herself.

"Ullu ka phatta. Gadha. Stupid." She called him names trying to calm herself not exactly sure why she was so worked up.

"Sara plan barbad kar diya! Fazool main appology ki acting bhi zaya ho gayi! Sari tyari bhi zaya ho gayi!" She hissed reminiscing the morning incident. She spent so much time to dress up, for the very first time in her life.

But he didn't even seem affected by her appearance at all. That was a stretch , he didn't even look at her! Which had never happened to Airaa before. Guys lost their senses infront of her, they forgot how to speak. But not him. Not stupid, thick headed Ayaan Amir.

"Imaad hai hi jahil! Koi ek bhi achaa idea nhi aya kisi ko! Mujhe pata thaa yeh plan bhi fail hai!"

She shifted to the left groaning.

'Do you have a crush on me?'

'yes'

"F*ck!" Airaa slapped her forehead.

Why had that 'Yes' slipped out? She should have had a better grip on her head. How could she make such a fool of herself?!

Airaa felt beyond stupid!

She had absolutely zero feelings for Ayaan, that 'yes' only happened because he confused her.

He always confused her. Made her lose her bearings.

How did he do that?! How was that even possible for him to have such power over her??

'Ugghhhhhhg!!'
