I woke up with an excessive moment on the side of the bed and slowly opened my eyes.
Looking at Ashwin, I saw that he was still asleep, but he didn't look very well. The clock in the room said it was 3:30 in the morning. It was still very early. I settled in, sitting on my side of the bed, seeing Ashwin sweating and panting. He seemed to be having a nightmare. Occasionally he would turn over in bed speaking words that I cannot understand and clench his fist, seeming to want to punch someone. I started to worry about the situation and decided to do something.
"Hey, Ashwineyy," I whispered lying closer to his body and hugging him.
"It's okay, I'm here," I said as I shook his hand and saw when his eyes opened, showing how much they were suffering. Before I said anything, I squeezed our fingers intertwined and stroked his hair, as he lay in my lap. I watched his eyes analyzing me as if I were a mirage and smiled happily for calming him down. It was in the blink of an eye, he went back to sleep, with me watching him.
"Miss Sivaangi, a man who claims to be responsible for Ashwin, awaits your presence in the waiting room," the nurse said and I frowned confused. Responsible for Ashwin?
