"Listen, pack your everything. We will be leaving from here sharp seven in the morning tomorrow," he informed her, causing her to look at him with narrow, confused eyes.

"Why? Where we are going?" She asked, turning herself towards him.

"Maybe you don't know but I don't live here. I live in a valley in the countryside and we are going there tomorrow," he informed her.

She gritted her brows. "But I won't go with you. I can't stay away from my mother and sister."

He sighed. "You are my wife and wife lives at husband's place. Pack your things and I need no argument." He walked away after that, leaving her to simmer in chaos.

Did he live in some other city? She had to live away from her family now. What about her friends? She would lose every one of them. What about her studies? She was going to give exams privately after a few months. Her whole life got affected by this marriage.

Faris's eyes locked on her figure and then they forgot how to look away. She was looking way too gorgeous in that light pink embroidered maxi. Perhaps more than the baraat because at that time, he didn't consider her as his. But now, she was only his.

"Nikkah's words have a lot of power, Faris. It does change your feelings altogether. At least think about settling your life again."

Kamraan's advice reverberated in his ears and he agreed with it now. This girl was slowly changing his mindset. The heart which got locked after Marina's betrayal was finally opening up. Or perhaps it never closed. It was he who himself sealed it. What he felt for Marina was not love. It was just likeness and an urge to just now get settled in life.

But the feeling rooting in his heart for Ajwa was not hurried. When he overheard her talk with her sister that she didn't want this marriage, he didn't like it. Perhaps he could not love her but he could take her responsibility as a caring husband. Besides, he wanted this marriage to work. It was more of an obligation and commitment for him right now hence he didn't want to leave her.

Tonight was their reception. He was wearing a royal blue Armani suit, matching Ajwa's outfit. He was outside the salon to pick up his bride. And when she came out with Raima on her left side, he couldn't see anything else other than her.

The women settled inside the car but in all this while, his wife's glaring at him with those adorable crystal brown eyes never ended. A faint smile came across his lips. She was showing her anger with this cute face and was expecting him to reciprocate it. Wasn't that too contrasting?

Ajwa was sitting in front of the dressing, taking out her jewelry after they reached home after the reception. She stopped when Faris entered the room.

"Excuse me," she called him.

He looked at her but again got mesmerized to find her long, silky black hair falling on her back.

"Where do you live?" She asked.

"In a valley, a few kilometers away from the city. I have my clinic there," he answered, perhaps more than what was needed.

She stood up from the stool and headed towards him. He just sat on the bed a while ago; now busy in removing his shoes.

"But I won't go there with you to a stranger place. It's too early as well," she complained.

"I told you before as well; a wife's real house is where her husband lives and I live there, not here," he calmly replied, now removing his wristwatch from his wrist.
