She was crying and her eyes had complaints, hurt, and pain in them. Faraan felt it was directed towards him. The black abaya was covering her figure decently and gracefully. She was very beautiful. She had forest green eyes, arched black eyebrows, a straight nose, and plump lips. Her face had a strange and elegant glow that Faraan never found on anyone else's face. She reminded him of that girl. She was also like this. Innocent, gorgeous and pure, and genuine. Like those Hoors resided in heaven. She also seemed a Hoor and she was decent and delicate.

Faraan was stunned. "You?" He rumored.

Did she come to him? Was she looking out for him? He came out of the car to meet her but she was gone. He could see the silhouette of her red scarf. Faraan ran after her.

"Maryam... Maryam. Wait for me...Maryam stop," he shouted but to no avail. She was moving fastly than him. Despite trying his best, he couldn't match her steps.

He wanted to see her again. He needed to ask her why was she crying. Her tears were affecting him.

"Maryam please stop. I beg you. Don't leave me like this," he again yelled at the top of his lungs.

The time of Maghrib had ended and now there was darkness all over. This area was barren and no one was there. Not even a single car or any other vehicle could be seen. Only Faraan and Maryam were there. An eerie serenity was there. It felt like even the leaves were still, the trees were in a feeling of peace. There was a truce everywhere.

Eventually, Maryam halted in her rungs. Faraan too stopped and then breathed heavily in and out to correct his speedy breathing.

"Maryam," he whispered.

She then turned around and now the tears had dried on her cheeks. Her eyes were red and exhibited remorse. She never got angry. Even in the worst circumstances, she always had a calm vibe around her. Her lips always remained adorned with a smile. But right now she seemed unhappy. Faraan's heart clenched. He was the reason for her misery. That girl loved him and that was how he paid her.

"Maryam, where were you? I was waiting for you for so long," he said, walking near her.

He held her hands. "I love you, Maryam. Don't leave me like that again."

"Waiting for me? You were doing the opposite of it. You have been doing the things which I always dislike. That was your love?" Maryam freed her hands from him and blurted out.

Faraan's eyes widened. "No Maryam. I really love you. Don't leave me alone like that. You brought light to my dark life. Don't do that again with me."

Maryam laughed. "You yourself dimmed down those lanterns of light. I didn't expect this from you."

Then she again walked away. Really leaving him alone. He kept on calling her, trying to stop her and run after her but all in vain. She never listened.

Faraan's head jerked and then he came back to his senses. He lifted his head from the steering wheel and looked here and there blankly. He was still in his car and while hearing the call to prayer, he just slept there. He again found himself drenched in sweat.

Now as he roamed his gaze around. The sky was black now. For how long did he doze off? He ran fingers through his hair and then squeezed his eyes to get the sleep out of them. Opening the door of the car, he came out of it. Lazily he stepped inside the house and went towards his room straight. His mind was so jumbled up and his head was heavy.

What was that dream? Why he felt familiar with that Maryam? Like he had seen her before. Like a deja vu. But right now, his brain was unable to process anything. He just needed to sleep right now and so he did.
