She was in the kitchen this time, making breakfast for herself. She woke up late in the morning as her exams ended. Today was perhaps her last day at her parents' house. Faris had told her that he would come tomorrow to pick her up and also to discuss about his friend's proposal for Javaria as well.

Ajwa was very happy for her sister. She deserved the best and she just wanted her father to agree to this. Seeing Faris's calmness, she was sure he would definitely do something to help Javaria go out of this forced and unwanted marriage. Thinking about him, all of this was increasing her love for him more. If it wasn't for him, so much bad would have happened. Now Ajwa realized at everything did happen for a reason.

She had to meet Faris ultimately and for this, Faraan did choose her in the first place in place of Javaria. No one could fight against fate but one could try to make it beautiful for oneself.

She had now finally decided to accept her marriage fully. Living away from Faris made her realize that she couldn't live away from him. She wanted him in her life for so many reasons; love was probably the most important one of those. However, sometimes she wondered what if there was only love but not respect, mutual understanding, and loyalty, then what would she have done?

Maybe one couldn't get everything in life and she was one of them. This might cast her down for some point in the future that her husband couldn't feel for her as she did but her love for him would overcome every depressing thought.

Love was a wonderful, eternal, and selfless feeling and the one who loved didn't want any reciprocal. This was the primary reason why Ajwa's thoughts changed. Maybe she never wanted love ever in the first place. She needed respect and honor which her father never gave to her mother and his daughters. And she was getting this from Faris.

She placed the fried egg and toast on a plate and then poured a cup of tea for herself. As she was taking the tray of breakfast from the kitchen to her dining table, some voices from her parents' room stopped her feet.

"You lazy woman, don't you have eyes?" Her father snarled. "Now how will I go to the office when you didn't move your lazy ass and only ironed one shirt for me?"

"I am sorry. I'll quickly press another shirt again," her mother's meek voice sounded. Ajwa's heart missed a beat at this terror again. She had been seeing all this since childhood and before when it used to send chills down her spine to see the women in this house humiliated by the only man, now she found herself to be so upright and fearless. And that also happened because of another man; her husband.

"You don't need to. You will again take ten minutes and I am getting late for my office. Knit the button in two minutes. Hurry up!" Khalid ordered like a king again.

"You dumb woman, move your hand quickly," Khalid again said.

This made Ajwa remember the same happening a few months ago. When something same like this happened to her but how her husband was so patient and polite. All this always made Ajwa respect and love Faris more. And made her decision to accept this marriage a hunted percent correct.

The doorbell rang. Ajwa was in her room, watching TV in the evening. But hearing this, her heart came into her throat. He really came. He talked to her before driving to the city. Ajwa had them quickly dressed up in wait for him. She quickly wear her slippers and rushed out of the room.

"I'll open the gate," she said to her mother who was just about to go towards the porch. Ayesha smiled in satisfaction seeing her like this. Her daughter was finally accepting her husband and this marriage. This was such a relief for her. She prayed in her heart for Ajwa's happiness to be long-lasting.
