In the evening, Faris left Jazib's apartment with a commitment to Faraan that he would talk to their father about him. He himself wanted his brother to go back. Whatever had happened, it occurred coincidentally. He too was a victim of the situation somehow.

After a ride of two hours, he reached the village. But the house didn't seem that house as compared to when he saw that girl sleeping soundly in their bedroom. It made him realize how perfect his life was now. She had completed many deficient parts of him, his house, his being. He liked to be with her.

He sneaked his way toward his bed to give her a surprise. Before leaving, he never told Ajwa that he was coming back. That was the reason she was not awake. He stifled a smirk and gave her a detailed look.

She was sleeping while hugging one pillow with her right arm. Her long eyelashes were making a shadow on her pinkish cheeks and hiding the sight of her beautiful brown eyes from him. Her lips were in a pout which made him refresh the memory of two days ago when they kissed. The hair on her forehead was messy but she was still gorgeous. While sleeping, she always looked very cute and like a doll to Faris. A flawless and charming one!

He bent down and touched her hair. He caressed her cheeks with his fingers before hiding his hand in her neck, gently stroking her soft skin. Ajwa flinched and her facial expressions distorted but she didn't wake up.

Faris's fingers were going more down while his lips followed them. He peppered feather-like kisses all over her face, throat, and neck. Ajwa groaned and grabbed his hand instead. She was still in her sleep but the way she was tugging on his hand so possessively made him smile. She had now placed it near her cheek.

Perhaps in her sleep, she was again having that dream that someone was after her and then he came to rescue her. Every time she woke up before saying anything but now she was finally able to touch her savior. She was very happy. She really wanted to know why did he always save her.

Faris leaned ahead and brushed her ear with his lips. "Sunshine."

"Hmm," she grumbled.

Placing a proper kiss on her cheek, he again reached her ear. "Wake up, Sunshine."

Ajwa slowly opened her eyes. Then they widened when she got fully to her senses and realized him standing so near her.

"Faris," she whispered and sat up quickly which caused him to stand back. "You are back."

He smiled and nodded. Her lips also spread. She had missed him way too much. And she was glad now to see him back.

"Why didn't you tell me that you are coming?" She complained.

"Then how could I see this smile on your beautiful face?" He pinched her nose.

Ajwa chuckled. Her whole tiredness flew away seeing him back. Faris lifted her hand near his face and pressed his warm lips against her soft palm. He never knew she would get this happy to watch him back as though she was seeing him after ages. The way her eyes shined with gratification even made him fresh altogether.

When Ajwa entered the room, Faris had just come out of the shower, while rubbing his hair with a towel. He was again just in his sweatpants. But now she didn't feel uncomfortable with his sheer and enchanting presence in a shirtless state. They were passed that point. Faris had shown so much calmness, gentleness, and friendliness that she felt herself safe with him and eager for his touch. She knew if not love, then he wouldn't hurt her even.

Faris glanced at her and then his eyes softened. She always managed to make him fascinated by her.

"I have set the table. Come for dinner," she told him.
