Shalini just froze at the entry of Samar from the kitchen....
_________________________Shalini's POV:
Sahana invited me to her house. I don't know why Samar's entry gave me the heebie-jeebies. Of course I'm not in fear, but I gradually realized that I'm in an actor's house.
"Shalini, violin case ah keela potutinga" Samar informed me.
"Oh...thanks Samar" I picked up my case. Till now I safeguarded my violin as if it's a newborn and for the first time I dropped the case because of this surprise---expected surprise with an unexpected timing.
"Ethuku appo appo romba anxious ah irukinga? Ethachu problem ah?" he asked.
"Pinna...ungala naa second time, athuvum unga veetuke vanthu paakuren" I revealed.
"Besides being an actor nanum saadharana manushan than, I know how it would feel. Have some water" Samar explained.
I had some water kept on a glass for me and relaxed inside myself.
Sahana introduced me to her parents and their grandmother and I greeted them.
"Nee daily evalo neram violin vaasipa?" Lakshmi paati asked.
"Except for bathing, eating, working, phone watching and sleeping times-most ah ennoda kaila violin irukum..." I said and they were surprised.
"Appo neeyum enna mari thana?" Rajan uncle asked.
"Neengalum violin vaasipingala uncle?" I wondered.
"Illa ma, avaruku rende rendu vela...office porathum sapudrathum than" aunty smiled at uncle.
"Sapadu than vaazhka Madhavi, athu poruppu illa" he stated while adjusting his spectacles and focussing on the kitchen.
"Haha, neenga romba comedy ah pesaringa uncle" I implied with a chuckle and he said "thanks ma" with a sheepish smile.
"Unga veetula enga Appa mari comedy piece irukangala?" Sahana asked. Avanga ippo comedy na ennane theriyatha sidumoonjinga...
"Enaku Vikram nu oru thambi irukan, avan than comedy pannuvan. He's studying PhD in sociology"
"Oh great!" Samar was surprised.
"Aunty, neenga enna vela pakaringa?"
"Na munnadi oru mess business pannitu irunthen but athu loss la poiruchu, ippo housewife ah iruken ma" she revealed with a sad smile.
"Oh, I'm sorry aunty. Vera ethachu plans iruka?"
"Ippothaiku illa ma" she sighed and paati held her hand.
"Shalini, nee iniku Madhavi's kitchen oda taste ah rasikka pora" uncle informed and aunty saw him.
"Dinner pannirkingala enaku?" I was surprised yet again.
