"Happy birthday, baby." I whispered as Colby rubbed his eyes. "Thank you." He said quietly then pulled me into his chest more. "How'd you sleep?" He asked as he nuzzled his chin on my head.

"Like a rock. I'm excited for today."I said and traced his abs with my finger. "I think you're more excited than me at this point." He said with a laugh. "What can I say, I love birthdays." I said as he chuckled and kissed my head.

"Can I give you your gift?" I asked with a smile as I looked up at him. "You didn't have to get me anything." He said as I rolled my eyes. "Of course I did." I said then scooted out of bed so I could grab the gift.

I ran downstairs only to see Sam and Kat in the kitchen. "Violet! Come here." Sam said causing me to stop and turn to go into the kitchen.

"What's up?" I asked and leaned on the counter. "Jake, Corey, and I are taking Colby to lunch so you and Kat can make the food for the party." Sam explained as I nodded.

"Sounds good. I'm taking him to dinner at 7 so when we get back the party should be in full swing." I said then stood up straight. "Perfect." Sam said then typed something into his phone. "I have to go back upstairs now but I'll send Colby down soon." I said then jogged to my room.

I quickly grabbed the present and went upstairs. "Did you get lost?" Colby asked with a laugh as I walked into the room. "Shut up, no." I said then jumped onto the bed and handed him the gift.

"Open it." I said excitedly as I bounced up and down. "Okay okay." He said with a laugh the unwrapped the present. "Ooo a box." He said as I rolled my eyes.

"Just open it." I said with a giggle as he undid the tape. "Aw, babe." He said and held up the Polaroid camera I got him. "It's for our adventures." I said as he grinned and put it to the side then grabbed the photo album.

"I can't wait to fill this up." He said with a smile. "There's one more thing." I said quietly then pointed to the small box that was still in the bigger box.

"What's this?" He asked then opened the ring box. I had spent all of my saved money to buy Colby a cartier ring since he always splurged on me.

"Just a little something." I said quietly as he frowned. "You didn't have to spend this much money on me, baby." He said then put the ring on his right index finger. "I wanted to though." I said as he cupped my face and pulled me in for a kiss.

"I love you so much." He said then kissed my forehead. "Do you like it?" I asked and looked down at the ring. "I love it. Thank you." He said with a smile and pulled me in for a hug.

We ended up cuddling for about an hour before I forced Colby to get out of bed.

I let Colby get ready while I went downstairs to start prepping the kitchen to cook. "Happy birthday Colby!" Kat said as he and Jake came into the room.  "Thanks, Kat." He said with a grin. "Ready to go?" Sam asked as he and Corey came into the kitchen. "Yep." Colby said then came over to kiss my cheek.

"Have fun." I said and waved as Sam led the way out of the kitchen. As soon as they were gone I turned to Kat. "We have a lot to do." I said then let out a sigh.

"Don't stress, it's gonna be okay. We'll get it done." She said as I nodded. We spent a while trying to figure out what we were going to do, then got to cooking.

We didn't have to do much food wise since most of the food we were going to have was just bagged snacks but we spent a lot of time making jungle juice and other forms of alcoholic beverages.

When we were done with everything we cleaned the kitchen and went into the living room. "When is Ki coming?" I asked as we plopped onto the couch.
