Don't make me feel butterflies again🦋
Y/N's POV:
Yelena seemed different, she wasn't as casual as usual. But I guess showing up out of the blue was awkward and it'll take time to be friends again. 'You still like her.' My inner voice said. Yes I still liked her, but my so called girlfriend was a problem. Sasha Braus was my best friend not my girlfriend. Stupid Jean and Connie dared us to 'date' for a month when we played truth or dare. Sasha was the coolest friend ever, but nothingness my interests were in a door sized woman with a bowl cut. "Lady move." A random kid shouted at me. Then did I realize I was overthinking in the middle of the pavement. "Sorry." I said. The kid with a brown ponytail brushed passed and her blonde friend apologized to me. Ponytail kid was kinda mean, but blonde boy seemed like a sweet kid. I walked back to my apartment and Mrs Launder was there. "You never bring your cool friends home." She groaned. How was I meant to explain. "Ahh they're busy with work." I said what a bad excuse. "Me and Pieck need to hang out again." She said. AGAIN. Pieck hangs out with cool old ladies my oh my. "See you." I said and hurried into my apartment. I missed Yelena's presence. I missed Yelena. Maybe I shouldn't have fought with her about something so silly. I still have the pictures and sometimes I cried when I saw them. 'Message her.' My inner voice said. No ways I'd look desperate, but I want to.
Sexy blonde bowl cut 👩🏻‍🦲
Me: Hey
Sexy: Hey
Me: Can we meet up tonight?
Sexy: I'm a bit busy
Me: Okay that's fine
Sexy: But I don't mind coming
Me: No it's fine
Sexy: Shut up I'm coming
Me: So be it
Sexy: Didn't you want me to come?
Me: Yeah, but you're busy
Sexy: So...
Me: Do your work
Sexy: 😩
I missed Yelena much more than I realized. I wonder if she felt the same. Anyways I set out my project and began working. When the time came for me and Yelena to meet I nearly was done with my project. I just realized I hadn't changed into anything decent and it was cold so I just put something comfy on.
Your outfit:

Hopefully this would be fine for the weather

Hopefully this would be fine for the weather. I ran down to campus at just as I got there Yelena was about to leave. "I didn't think you would show up." She said glumly. Why won't she talk to me like how she used to. "I'm sorry I was doing our studio work project." I groaned. "Oh yes that." She said. Just talk to me with the emotion you used to talk with. "Your outfit is as fashionable as ever." I commented. "Yours looks cold." Was all she said. Maybe she didn't miss me and pitied me. "Do you miss hanging out?" I asked her. Her eyes widened then she sat down on the grass and said. "We barely did shit." Barely did shit what was that meant to mean. We did so much. Did she just block it out of her mind? "How's home?" I asked. "Fine." She said. She was being blunt yet her words cut through me. "Does Eric bother you?" I asked another question "Nope." She said. Ouch, ouch. "Are you okay?" I asked. "Well not when someone that I haven't spoken to in forever pitches up and wants to be friends." She spat. Her words were like venom. They hurt and stung. "I'm sorry." I said and I meant it. "What do you even want?" She asked her voice sounded hurt. "I want to be your friend again. I miss you." I said. I didn't look at her when I said it, because it felt embarrassing. "What is there to miss?" She asked. What was she trying to get at? "All our fun times. Believe me I miss you." I said. Wait why was I saying this was I that desperate for her. "Then why didn't you tell me sooner?" She asked. I looked at her face now and her eyes were tearing up. I felt so bad. "I know I should of been a better friend." Was all I could say. 'You want to be more that friends maybe tell her that.' My inner voice said. Was the inner voice crazy. No ways in a million years. All I could think about the first time I kissed her it felt so long ago and far away. I just wanted to fall in love again, but I ruined my chance. "You moved on really quick." She said. I never moved on. "Let me explain." I said. "It's okay you fell in love with another girl." Her voice was now softer. I just laughed at how she believed it. "What's funny?" She asked. "It's just she's not my girlfriend it's a dare." I said in between laughs. "Why didn't you say so?" She asked. I saw a small smile painted on her lips. Was she happy that me and Sasha weren't dating? "I just thought you forgot about me that's all." She said in a hushed voice. "I can't." I said. "You should really sit down." She said. It didn't even bother me that I was standing, but I just sat down anyways. "Do you wanna know something?" I asked her. "Sure." She said in that smug as ever tone. "I have that picture you left behind that day." I said with a smile. "I looked everywhere for it and I cried when I realized I lost it." She said and reached her long slender hands out to the sky. She wasn't facing me or even looking at me. She faced the stars and I watched her. "Lets listen to music." I said excitedly. "Guilty pleasure songs." She said. "Fine fine." I said and played:
