Jaehyun was so lucky, so lucky that his phone showed Byeolmin's location even when they were dating.

Byeolmin wanted to have them track one another in case if anything happened, coming out of her caring side.

Jaehyun did not trust Byeolmin under her parents at this point so he called backup.

He was genuinely worried and scared. He knew how much this affected her.

" Why can't you obey us and just give us what we want! " Mrs. Kang slapped Byeolmin on the face.

Byeolmin was unarmed at the point. Her phone was lying somewhere probably cracked on the ground, her belongings were trashed up, and her outfit was ripped by Mrs. Kang who simply was jealous of their daughter's rising.

" You don't deserve to be pretty! You're supposed to obey us and do what we tell you to do! Why can't you do that?! Even in school, you couldn't mark first. No wonder why you never had friends in your lifetime. " Mrs. Kang scoffed.

The reason why I never had friends was because of you!

" Why would I manipulate the people at Natural Kimesthethics and give the company to you! It's going to be in bad hands anyways! " Byeolmin cried out as she earned another slap from her mother.

" Do you know where we have been?! We've been trying to find jobs for you but all we do is come short, but now you're doing us the favor, why can't you return it yourself? We've raised you for 18 years! " Mr. Kang then picked a crying Byeolmin up and threw her across the room.

" You're so useless, no wonder why we left you. " Mrs. Kang then proceeded to beat her own daughter up.

Byeolmin continued to cry, feeling all the kicks and punches she's gaining from her mother. She was hopeless.

Bruises, cuts, and blood were flowing out of Byeolmin's body. Surprisingly the most painful thing was her mother digging her nails into Byeolmin's skin, easy win to bleed.

Why did she agree to do it? Because for the sake of her parents but also to protect Jaehyun or whatever they do.

Byeolmin lied on the ground as her mother as monitoring her, ensuring that she wouldn't escape. Mr. Kang eventually came back with an object that Byeolmin wasn't able to see clearly, due to her crying.

She then heard a gun loading.

That's right, a gun load.

" Kill her. " Mrs. Kang said. " We'll get everything once she dies and no one will know. "

" Of course. " Mr. Kang smirked.

Byeolmin's eyes were trembling, her body was shaking as she was lying on the ground, she felt no hope knowing that her life was flashing beyond her eyes.

But right when the gun was about to be loaded, the front door of the Kang's house was busted open as the Kang's turned around, bewildered.

" Freeze! Hands up! " The anonymous person said as they observed the situation. " You two are arrested. "

Byeolmin's eyes started to completely close, physically exhausted, but the last thing she remembered hearing was her name being called by a familiar male.

" Byeolmin! "

" Jaehyun, you need to go home. The doctor said she might not wake up until the next morning. " Jaeyeon placed her arm on Jaehyun's shoulder.

" No, I refuse. I'm the reason why she's here and I should be the one making up for it. " Jaehyun puffed his lips as his cousin sighed.

" Jaehyun, she'll be alright. " Doyoung patted his back.
