I'm working on another one of the (MANY) kids they adopt but until then Anna

Anna usually slept through the meetings as a baby but occasionally she'd just go all fussy all day and they'd have to bring her in

There was usually a shouting match among the states over who got to hold her

New Jersey: Ahh she's just a little precious bundle--

Florida: WASH YOUR HANDS

The duty to hold her usually fell to DC because he was the most level-headed during the meetings

Occasionally if you looked back DC wouldn't even be paying attention to the yelling or the arguments, he'd just be holding Anna in the crock of his arm talking to her softly about some government thing looking like he was completely lost to the world
