Stray Kids has a spare day and everyone decided to go out together. They somehow managed to agree McDonald's would be the best place and that's why they're on their way to the fast-food-restaurant right now.

Seungmin spares a quick glance to his right side. Hyunjin is looking out of the car's window. They had a fight. A big one. Not one you can just forget after a day. It's been a week.

Seungmin is lonely. He misses Hyunjin. He misses the two of them together as a team. And it's Seungmin's fault. That's the worst about it. It's Seungmin's fault. Like always. It's always him screwing up. It doesn't matter if it's cooking dinner or his own relationship.

His AirPods blast 'Feeling Whitney' on full volume. His brain is getting crushed by the guitar.

You don't need a friend. Boy, you're the man.

It feels like Seungmin is part of a music video. The music. The situation. The tight feeling of his throat. Anxious churning of his stomach. He's just really sad.

Another longing look to his right side. Hyunjin is still looking out of the window. His whole body is turned away from Seungmin. No, Hyunjin doesn't want to cuddle right now.

Because Seungmin kissed someone else. In a game of truth or dare. In front of Hyunjin.

Stray Kids were bored in the dance studio, not motivated to actually do anything productive, but had to wait for their dance instructor to arrive - who was stuck in traffic. So they played the first game that came to mind. Truth or dare. Seungmin chose dare. Chan didn't have a problem with it, Jisung suggested the dare.

He kissed Felix. Seungmin just did it.

He didn't think. It's his fault. He knows Hyunjin's past. He knows how the older has been used for his looks and then been cheated on because his personality wasn't enough. He knows kissing someone else is a sensitive topic, an emotional topic to Hyunjin. Especially kissing another male.

Hyunjin just watched and left the room for several minutes. When he came back, his eyes were red-rimmed and slightly swollen. Seungmin has never felt this bad in his whole life, ever.

If he's honest, they haven't even had a real fight. Hyunjin just stopped talking to him, avoiding any interaction with Seungmin. He even changed rooms with Jisung who felt extremely guilty for suggesting the kiss between Seungmin and Felix, and was happy to share a room with Minho. Now Hyunjin shares a room with Jeongin. Seungmin has to look at an empty bed every night, has to sleep alone in his own bed, while Jisung and Minho cuddle each other.

To be considerate of Seungmin's feelings, they start the night in different beds, Jisung lying in Hyunjin's. At those moments, Seungmin can almost pretend it's Hyunjin lying there. However, when Jisung is convinced Seungmin is asleep, he slips into Minho's bed.

That's always a new kind of reality check to Seungmin.

He's sharing a room with a couple now.

He isn't a part of the couple sharing a room with the third wheel.

He's third-wheeling.

Seungmin didn't even have the chance to try to talk to Hyunjin. He hasn't seen him at all for this last week. If he's seen him, everybody else was there, too. And Seungmin knows he's reckless. He feels too embarrassed to apologize in front of everyone.

Additionally, he doesn't want to force Hyunjin into an awkward situation where he has to answer Seungmin because of the other members watching them. Seungmin doesn't want that. He wants Hyunjin to be honest with him. He wants the two of them to talk as soon as Hyunjin is ready to. He is not.
