would be a short one because we knew a lot about what happened between him and felix. but this is just the story version of his summary.

side note: everyone in stray kids is the same age here.

FOUR YEARS AGO. BUSAN, SOUTH KOREA.

FOURTEEN YEARS OLD.

"felix! hey!" a black-haired boy yelled across the hall. the boy ran towards the new boy, who was a bit shy and only lifted his head when the black-haired boy neared him.

"hey, hyunjin. um, what is your first class?" felix asked softly, his korean still not the most perfect. he sometimes had to put some english in between each korean word because he didn't know the korean for that word. but that's fine, hyunjin understood basic english anyway. plus, if felix had to say more in english, chris would always translate for him.

hyunjin grinned. he flung his locker door open and started looking for his timetable, "ah, wait a second..." he reached his hand towards the back of his locker and chuckled, "found it!"

hyunjin took the crumpled paper out of his locker and frowned, "should've kept it in a better state. anyway, what day is it today?"

"wednesday."

"wednesday! okay, let's see... i have biology first. what about you?" hyunjin asked, stuffing the already wrinkled paper into his back pocket. he didn't really care anyway. it wasn't like he cared for school at all.

felix shook his head at hyunjin's action as a small smile crept up to his lips, "i have biology, too. let's go!" felix linked his arm with hyunjin's and the two friends went to their biology class together with felix talking mostly.

what hyunjin absolutely loved about felix was that although the boy might seem very shy at first, he was actually one of the biggest chatterboxes hyunjin had ever met. hyunjin was never one to shy away from speaking up, but he loved it too when someone else leads the conversation so he could just listen to them talk. felix was precisely that: felix would talk about what happened the night before and hyunjin would just listen, adding little comments here and there.

they fitted each other perfectly. but back then, neither of them noticed. it's the little things, the little hints that tells them they're soulmates. but neither of the two boys noticed it.

"hey, hyunjin! felix! hey, come here!" jisung, another one of hyunjin's friends in his friend group, waved the two over to come sit with him. jisung's soulmate, minho, was right next to jisung and smiled at the two friends.

"felix, have you ever heard of soulmates?" jisung asked out of the blue. minho and hyunjin took a glance at the boy, wondering why he had asked that. jisung saw the two's gaze and grinned, "i was just curious."

felix frowned and shook his head, "what's that?"

"well," jisung's grin widened. he loved explaining things like these, "basically, we all get a date on our non-dominant wrist. see? you see a date there, great! you're supposed to have met your soulmate on that day but that day was the start of school, so i assume you met loads of people. who did you meet on the first day of school?"

felix tapped his chin to think. who did he meet? well, he sure saw a lot of people, but actually talking and getting to know them...

"you seven." felix said, trying to make that sound as natural in korean, "i meant, the seven of you. ah. wait. i think it's only you, minho, changbin and hyunjin. yeah, the four of you, actually."
