Chapter 17: Genin exams

Ino P.O.V

"Ino! Wake up! It's your genin exams" amaya her mother called

"Hai, but 5 more minutes.." I yawned before I was dunked with flowers and one landed in my mouth

"Kaasan! Are these corpse lillies?!" I asked as I had ran to my bathroom running water through my mouth

"What? You have to admit that is the most efficient and funniest way to wake you up" Amaya said

"Well, great I'm up, I'll be down in a sec" I grumbled before changing into my outfit

I had gotten ready fairly quickly and had gone down to eat some delicious rice balls for breakfast

"Aa, ino your finally awake" inoichi said while coming into the room

"Mhm, thank you mom" I said. Note sarcasm

"What all I did was dump a bucket full of corpse lillies on her" Amaya said

"Oh. Anyways I heard your Genin exams are today" inoichi said trying to change the subject

"Yup! I'm pretty sure I'll graduate and be in the next generation of ino-shika-cho" I said confidently

"That's great to hear but you best hurry up or you'll be late" inoichi said while looking at the clock

"Thank you for the food" I said before kissing my mom and dad goodbye and leaving to the academy

"Tenten?" I asked

"Oh, hey Ino" Tenten replied

"Are we late..?" I asked

"No, not yet but if we continue this pace we will be" Tenten said

"Well let's go!" I said while grabbing her hand and running

- At the academy -

"Sakura!" I called out as soon as I spotted her

"Ino! Tenten! Over here" sakura said while pointing to the rest of our friends

"Sakura, as much as I would like to stay, we never really got close that much during the academy and would sure raise a few eyebrows if we started chatting nineteen to the dozen suddenly" Tenten said

"I suppose your right, in that case I,Ino and hinata shall have to stick closely" sakura said

"Well then? Your sitting with me this year and I'm not taking no for an answer. You too hinata!" I said before taking them to a bench being Naruto, sasuke kun and shino...?"

"Shino kun?" Hinata asked surprised

"Your surprised hinata.why? Because I'm sitting with people other than Kiba" shino said

"Yes I am surprised....but I'm glad your sitting with new people. But why did you start today?" Hinata asked

"You seem to have had friends, Kiba and I started making other friends... although have made none so far" shino replied

Before anyone could do anything else, the classroom door slid open and revealed 2 teachers coming in, one with a pineapple hairstyle and the other had white hair

"Hello! As you all know the genin exams is today. The written test will begin in half an hour. Use that time to study please" iruka announced

"Iruka sensei, may we go out and study?" sakura asked

"Yes, you can" iruka replied

So sakura,me, hinata,Naruto,sasuke kun had gone out to study

"Sakura chan" naruto whined
