Chapter 24: Wave Mission Pt.2

"We've reached the lake" Asuma interrupted their students, Chouji who was sleeping, and Shikamaru, Sasuke,Naruto, Ino and Sakura were talking about some people named Shikadai, Boruto, Himawari, Sarada and Inojin?

"Oh Asuma sensei!" Ino said, startled

"You guys can talk later, if I'd known about this sooner, I wouldn't have recommended it" Asuma said

"Asuma sensei, where's Kakashi sensei and the client and his guards?" Sakura asked

"They're waiting down the giant" Asuma said before he leapt down, the kids sighing in relief that they weren't found out and followed suit

"Kakashi, do you know anyone names Shikadai, Boruto, Himawari, Sarada or Inojin?" Asuma asked

"Can't recall" Kakashi shrugged, though as soon as the kids reached down he gave them a glare

"No more talking on this mission" Kakashi covered up as the kids sheepishly smiled

"Seems like yo-" "Zabuza san was saying how it would take at least 3 days with all of you helping to finish the bridge" Haku cut Zabuza off

"That should be doable, but I assume there's a boat? It would seem risky to carry the client while walking across the water" Kakashi asked

"And we'd definitely not be able to do it while taking care of our students either" Asuma added

"My friend should be coming to help us go to my village" Tazuna pointed

"Tazuna san, if I may ask, why are you building this bridge?" Sakura spoke up, wondering if the reason was the same as last time

"A guy, Gato had once come to our village, luckily by then, the Hokage had come helped our village so our mizukage was well aware of Gato, and after a few complaints, she had come to our village and managed to drive Gato out. What he was upto, I don't know, but it was definitely not good. This bridge, is going to be the symbol of trust between the Mist and The leaf" Tazuna explained

"But how would you put that into a bridge?" Ino asked

"There's going to be a statute of the leaf symbol and the mist symbol at the end and beginning of the bridge" Tazuna explained as we heard a boat arrive

"Then, what are Zabuza san and Haku san protecting you?" Chouji asked

"Well, there are some people who hate the leaf and there are also people who hate the mizukage, like Gato. Gato and the others may not want this bridge to be built cause this is going to serve almost like a sign of treaty" Tazuna explained

"It's very similar isn't it? Last time-" "Last time the leaf had made a symbol of a peace treaty with the sand" Sakura cut Naruto off

"Yea dattebayo! The sand's is cool but I can't wait to see the mist" Naruto gave a nervous chuckle, sure he was the hokage in his timeline, but his battle senses have gone low, like Kurama said

"Kakashi, your students are weird, I still find it hard to believe you fought for them" Asuma spoke up

"You fought for us?" Team 7 asked their sensei

"Let's just say, Minato sensei wasn't really that sure weather or not you should be in a team" Kakashi replied

"Oh, Sasuke, you almost went to Team 8, but Kakashi here fought for you to be with him. Naruto, Originally, Sakura, you were supposed to break team 10's regular tradition as it was supposed to be Ino, Shikamaru and You but obviously, Kakashi fought for you though that idea was skeptical and it was just an option. Boy, the yondaime was so surprised by him though" Asuma explained
