Chapter 23: Wave Mission

"Sakura chan! How was the trip to Suna?" Naruto asked as the female team came back from their mission

"Nothing interesting" Sakura shrugged as the she waved the other girls

"I'm in need of money, wanna take a mission?" Sakura asked

"Kaka sensei did say that we have 7 missions lined up. 3 D rank and 4 low C rank missions" Naruto said

"I'll meet you in our training ground than" Sakura said as Naruto went to call Sasuke and Kakashi. It had hardly taken them a day to finish all their missions

"Hokage sama, Team 7/ Team 10 reporting back" Kakashi and Asuma simultaneously reported

"Both your teams have finished their respective missions?" Minato raised an eyebrow

"Yes"

"Touchan! I want a higher ranking mission now!"

"Naruto, how many times have I told you to call me Hokage when I'm at work?" Minato sweat dropped

No wonder Boruto finds it fun!

"I have a C rank mission for you then" Minato said

"Oh right!" Ino and Naruto said before they glared daggers at eachother

"This is our mission Naruto!"

"Like hell! it's obviously ours Ino!"

"Actually, it's for both teams" Minato interrupted their fight

"Huh?" Naruto and Ino said together

"It's a mission to the Land of Waves, you are to help the client build a bridge" Minato explained

Isn't this mission only supposed to be ours?!

"He already has two escorts, they will be meeting you here shortly" Minato said as he nodded his head towards an anbu

"Does this have something related to the removal of a certain individual in the bingo book?" Kakashi inquired

"So these are the midgets that are going to help me build the bridge?" A voice slurred

"Tazuna san, it appears so, apologies for his rudeness, I am Haku, this is Zabuza san" a boy with a girl like face introduced himself and a guy with a sword behind him

"The man who copied a 100 jutsu, Copy nin Hatake Kakashi of the Sharingan" Zabuza said as he was about to sheath his sword but was stopped by Haku

"Zabuza san, as much exciting it is to fight on of the people in your bingo book, this is not the time or place to do it. We owe Konoha for stopping the upcoming bloodshed that would surely come to the mist"

"Tch"

"Hokage sama, What is the demon of the mist, Zabuza momochi doing here?" Asuma asked as he and Kakashi stood infront of their teams

"I had helped the fifth mizukage in establishing the hidden mist village back to its former glory, of course it's not yet earned its reputation back, but we have another ally including the sand now, that's why he was also removed from the bingo book. It is a bit late as it just occured to my thought, so we weren't able to stop a few of the swordsmen of the mist from defecting" Minato explained

"You've done more than enough for our village Hokage sama, our apologies for asking you to do us another favour" Haku bowed

"It's no bother. Team 7 and 10, meet at the gates in 10 minutes and start your first joint mission outside the village" Minato said before he dismissed everyone
