"WE'RE HERE!" i said grinning ears to ears. naglalakad kami ngayon palabas ng airport.
"yeah" cyon said
"I'm so happy na inimbitahan ako ni Mr. Woodstone sa mansion"
"You're so happy huh" he said sarcastically
"Why so sarcastic?" sabi ko at ngumiti na lamang siya "I'm just excited!"
My cellphone rang
From: Dwight
'I heard you're already in the Philippines. Wanna pick you up at the airport?'
I sighed as I walked frowning behind cyon.
I replied to it
TO: Dwight
'No need. I'm going now to the woodstone mansion'
Dwight immediately replied
FROM: DWIGHT
'okay, bahala ka. good luck to you'
Hindi ko na sinagot at sumakay na kmai sa limousine to go straight to the woodstone mansion.
I looked to cyon who was seriously looking at the cellphone.
"boring..." pagpaparinig ko sa kaniya
"pft" narinig ko ang tawa niya
"what's so funny? sinasabi ko lang naman na boring—"
"hindi naman ikaw, my girlfriend is joking" sabi niya at nawala ang ngiti ko sa mga labi "she's scolding me again. So cute~~"
"Is that so? hahaha"
I clenched because of embarrassment.
What the hell?! bakit nandon pa ang babaeng iyon?! Ilang linggo kong nakasama si Cyon at wala aking kaalam-alam!
Angsarap tawagan ng bwiset na lalaking inutusan ko! but how?! nasa tabi ko si Cyon?!
I just kept quiet after that hanggang sa nakadating na kami sa woodstone mansion.
Madaming mga maids na nag-welcome sa amin.
"Tara cyon"
"Mauna ka na" sabi nito at umikot sa compartment
agad akong napabuntong hininga at walang lakas na naglakad papasok
"Ma'am, sa salas na po kayo—"
"I know and thank you"naiiritang sabi ko
I immediately went straight to the sofa and sat down. I've been bored because halcyon is tooking so long. Napansin ko din na parang wala si Tito elias.
I started singing and stood up, looking at the furnitures in the living room and started humming until I saw an envelope that seems familiar to me.
Agad akong napasinghap!
That envelope ?! what is that doing here ?!
I immediately remembered halcyon's girlfriend.
I immediately picked up my cellphone and dialed the number of the person I ordered before I left the philippines
"Please sumagot ka" My phone just keeps ringing!
I bit my nail while waiting "sumagot kang hayop ka" suddenly my cellphone stopped ringing and I saw him answer. I took a deep breath
Makakatikim talaga itong lalaking ito kapag nagkita kami!
"bwiset ka anong nangyari sa pinagagawa ko sayo ha?!" I was even more annoyed when he didn’t answer
"alam mo, nakakainis ka nang sobra! diba sinabi ko sayo na kunin mo ang bwiset na babaeng yon?! anong kwenta ang ibinigigay ko sayong pera? wala kang kwenta!"
"Ikaw ang nakakainis at walang kwenta..."
My whole body immediately went cold when I heard that voice on the other line
"Why did you stop?"
I could not move and look back.
A few more seconds before I can turn forward on him...
"Cyon..." trembling I said "Bakit nasa iyo ang—"
He faked a laugh "I gave you a chance to be my friend, but this is what you're going to repay me?" then he threw away the cellphone and I was stunned "I know everything Lilith!"
