BABYSITTING A GENIUS

Chapter 23

Coleen's POV

"Pucha, pano nyo nagawang bilugin ang isip ko?! I trusted you! Lalong lalo ka na!." Poke nito sakin.

"Ano ba talagang nangyayari ha?! Kasi gulong gulo nako! But I'm pretty sure that this ain't some kind of road trip or vacation." Sabi pa ni Cole.

"Cole--" Sabi ni Ate Abby.

"Ate Abby--" seryoso kong sabi.

"No Coleen. Okay, maybe it's time for you to know the truth. You and your dad are under investigation because of your possible link to the terrorist attacks." Sabi ni Ate Abby.

"Terrorist what? Are you freaking kidding me right now?."

"Well, we have already proven your innocence but your Dad--"

"Ate Abby--" pigil ko rito.

"Wait, so this girl is Alex Dee's daughter?." Gulat na sabi ni Sela.

"T-teka lang ah, ano bang pinagsasabi nyo?." Sabi ni Cole tila naguguluhan.

"Alex Dee is one of the most wanted criminals in the Philippine history. Siya rin mismo ang leader ng mga terrorist. At anak ka niya." Sabi ni Ate Abby.

"You must be mistaken, my father is not that Alex guy. There's no way that he is." Sagot ni Cole.

"You're right. Alex is not your father." Sabi ko.

"Teka lang, parang ako naman ata ang naguguluhan ngayon. What do you mean he's not her father eh kakasabi lang nito ni Abby na anak ni Alex Dee ang batang to?. That doesn't make any sense." Sabi ni Sela.

"It does because Alex Dee is actually a woman." Sabi ko.

"Pero all the documents states that he's male. So how is that possible?."  Sabi ni Sela.

Sonya's (Alex) POV

I was born with a hormonal problem—hirsutism (is where women have thick, dark hair on their face, neck, chest, tummy, lower back, buttocks or thighs) that my mom decided to hide me from the world because I guess it's just a default option for people to judge me and call me names such as freak or monster, while my twin brother Alex is normal. He's lucky in a lot of ways but he died in such a young age.

Our father is a multimillionaire at ayon sa napagkasunduan nila ay kukunin ni Dad ang anak nya kay mommy kung lalaki ito. My mom didn't want anyone to know about me existing that she chose to not have any document recorded about me, tanging kay Alex lang talaga since para kay Dad walang pakinabang ang anak na babae since di naman nito madadala ang apilido niya.

Pero nung kukunin na kami ni Dad nung 4 years old na kami ay biglang nagkasakit si Alex ng malubha at sya na nga rin nitong pagkamatay. Gustong gusto na ng mommy na makaahon sa hirap tapos yung ticket nya pa na si Alex ay nawala pa. 

Nabaon narin kami sa utang nun dahil sa pagiging sugarol ni Mommy kaya kailangan talaga namin ng pera. Kaya naisip nyang ako nalang ang magpanggap bilang kapatid ko. That took a lot of shaving. 

We pulled that out for a long time. Sobrang naging proud ng Daddy ko sakin dahil sa mga achievements ko especially in school, I was always on top of my class.

My mom used to be a butcher sa palengke and for me seeing meat butchered is oddly satisfying. And since I was a kid I always wonder how it looks and feel to butcher human flesh.
