ㅤ𝐆𝐖𝐄𝐍 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃Derek refuse the paramedic's help. She wasn't angry at him for refusing the help; no, she was angry at the unsub for doing this to him. She was also a little angry at herself for not being there to help. She hated the sight of Derek hurt, especially when she could've prevented it.
When they figured out that the unsub was after Matt Spicer and his family, they headed off to their cars and drove off to Kristin Spicer's apartment. But then they got stuck in traffic, and Gwen got stuck with Hotch and Emily. But when they arrived, no one was there. And Gwen knew that something had gone wrong. Really wrong.
And she was right. Matt was dead, and Derek was bleeding from his head.
"Damn it, just put a bandage on it and leave me alone," Derek complained to the female paramedic.
"How is he?" Hotch asked the woman.
Gwen frowned a little, as she thought, Why not ask Derek instead?
