I am so excited to start writing again, something which I didn't think would ever happen after the all consumuing occupation of writing The Budding Roses. I was ready to retire after just one book! But I must have recovered and the bug has bitten hard, for here I am again conjouring up ideas, unable to hold back any longer. I hope you enjoy my second novel, The Gap Year, just as much as The Budding Roses. New protagnoist Emma finds herself hating her summer job working in Corfu, Greece. But Harry and Liam will be back to brighten the scene. I've chosen Corfu, or Kerkyra as it is known to the Greeks, as the setting, since I spent so much wonderful vacation time there growing up. I used to cry for about a week everytime I had to leave. It was, and still is, one of my true loves, and I hope you can enjoy the island and its characters just as much as I am thinking and writing about them. Enjoy reading, love Ally xx
