Third Person Pov
The bluenette sighed as she closed the bakery's door behind her. Vigilantly she made her way over the Pont des Arts and down a dark alleyway. She kept walking until she reached a dead end. Her eyes begun to adjust to the dark and she felt her way around the walls. Her palms brushed across a clay brick wall. This was one of the few ways of entering the base. Though she needed the password and it was obvious that Hawkmoth would've made sure it changed. She once again sighed. She pressed her palm against the clay bricks and the words, "My mission is complete, now wall, fall to my feet!" escaped her lips. The wall didn't budge and she slammed her hand into the wall in anger... but what could she do? She knew that the password was most likely changed... and even if she got past that wall, it was as clear as day that the base was probably moved to a different location... The teen sighed and rested her back against the wall. What now? She looked around, her eyes had finally adjusted fully. Bags of rubbish laid on the corners of the wall and cobwebs sat lazily on the corners of the floor. She looked away not wanting to submit to the temptation of getting distracted. She wanted to clean the place up so badly but she shouldn't, it's not like she planned on returning to this place anyway... She stared at the wall... was it still there? How did she know that the place was completely destroyed and replaced with actual bricks? "Hello? Sweetie?" The sudden sound startled the girl and she reacted with a fight pose. "Sweetie?! Can you hear me?" Marinette sighed, relieved that it was only her mother. "Y-yes maman, I can hear you..." She smiled, relaxing her muscles since there was no danger at the moment. "Good. Now, why aren't you in as yet?" The woman questioned. "I think the password was changed... or the place was demolished..." Sabine giggled. "Really? Hawkmoth never took interest to find out where the hideout was, I doubt it..." Marinette was speechless. Did she forget her own password? "Sweetie remember I changed the password in case of anything?" The woman reminded. "Yeah...yeah... I do... I guess I forgot, what was it again?" Marinette nervously chuckled. "Of course now, repeat after me, "Be who you are and follow your heart. This way you won't be torn apart." The teenage girl did as she was told. She laid her hand on the wall after reciting the words and smiled. Though it still looked like a brick wall, she was able to walk right through it, just like an open door. "Great your in!" Sabine was tracking Marinette on her 'phone' and the signal went offline. The reason for this was that the walls of the base cut any unknown signal off. Marinette brushed her hand against the wall. So much dust... She wiped her hands on her clothing and made her way around the first room. She made her way towards a scanner and placed her hand on it. "Scanning... fingerprint recognition... success..." A robot voice came from the machine. "Please step inside the glass elevator to the left..." Marinette did as she was told and pressed a black button. "Leaving in 5...4...3...2...1... Have a safe journey!" The circular elevator descended and then begun to move forward. After about a minute or two it stopped. Marinette smiled, she missed that... She exited the elevator and it made its way back to the room she was previously in. She took a deep breath and begun to walk. The place was like a maze down there but she knew her way. She walked straight for a while before taking a left turn, a right, and then another right. The teen continued to walk forward and finally stopped. She hid behind the wall of a turn. There it was... headquarters... She sighed, so many memories... She shook the thoughts out of her head. "Maman, I'm here. It's heavily guarded... as always. You got back signal?" The girl didn't move instead she inspected the place for anything useful. Marinette couldn't afford to get caught and she was determined not to. "Unfortunately no... but I was able to redirect the camera's view and acquire a recent digital blueprint," Marinette smiled to herself. Sabine always found some way to astonish her, especially when technology is involved. "How'd you do that with no signal?" Marinette watched as the cameras turned to face the other direction. "I'll explain some other time, right now you need to hurry. The cameras will reset in 30 minutes..." Marinette thanked her mother and begun to make her way inside. There were two guards outside and the glass door was tinted so she couldn't clearly see inside. She slipped behind the guards and quietly knocked them out. "Okay sweetie, the layout has barely changed. So you should know your way around." Marinette smiled to herself. "However along with the blueprints, the usual security amount per section is stated. The only problem would be if something special is occurring, in such a case the regular security may intensify," The teen sighed. "Thanks maman," Sabine did not reply, instead she was busy working on a way to regain signal. She'd be able to assist her daughter a lot more if she did. Marinette took a deep breath and entered the building. She knocked on the door and as the door slid open, she stealthily made her way around the guards as they inspected the area. "Too easy," She walked down a few stairs and hid whenever needed. "Okay, sweetie, take a left, you should see two doors. The computer lab is to the right and the sever room is to the left. "Got it!" Marinette made her way to the server room and the did as her mother told her, handing Sabine access and command to a part of their system. She then carefully made her way to the other side of the base and did the same thing in another server room. "Well done! Now get out of there, you only have about 12 minutes remaining. "Sure maman, but first, I have something to do," the bluenette heard as her mother sighed. "Just hurry up. Oh! And I got back signal. I know where you are," Marinette smiled. "Okay maman, how far am I from the labs?" The teen, crossed her fingers hoping she isn't too far from it. "Which type?" The girl instantly replied with the word, 'Analysis'. "Above you, a bit southwest to you," Marinette's eyes glimmered in delight. A nice challenge for her, 11 minutes remaining. She rushed upstairs and made her way to the lab with her mother's directions. "Hold on..." Marinette stocked a pin. "The door's unlocked, sweetie," Marinette  didn't move, how was she not going to draw any suspicion or attention? "H-Hey! What're you doing here?! This area is prohibited!" Marinette chuckled. "Oh, it is? My bad!" She knocked the lady over, tied her up with the red cloth (the one around Marinette's neck) and took her lab coat along with her identification card. She pulled it on and entered the lab. Keeping her head hung low, she made her way around. She made her way to a locked room and Sabine assisted her. She entered and looked around for what they could've found at Adrien's old base. A slight pink tinted her cheeks and she shook her head. No distractions! She walked around, inspecting the drawers and finally came across an opened folder and a hair bead. She grabbed the folder and bead and begun to make it to the room's door... but someone stopped her. The door opened and a man walked inside mumbling to himself. He turned around and froze as he say an unfamiliar face with his lab partner's badge. "Who are you?! Where's Diana?!" Marinette sighed. Marinette didn't respond but instead hit the guy in the head, causing him to pass out. "Such a nuisance," She whispered. She quickly made it seem as though he hit his head on the floor and then left the room, crying for him. "Somebody! Help! My partner is unconscious!" Everyone hurriedly left their stations and ran to the room. She smirked to herself and then returned the lab coat and identification card to the correct owner and untied her, only to knock her out and leave her in a small storage room. "You got that on the camera?" Marinette asked. "Yes, sweetie. Only specific parts. From what's recorded a female with that badge entered the room, left with a folder and then hid in the storage room after begging for help," Sabine paused before continuing, "Having signal is extremely satisfactory. Oh, one more thing you only have 2 minutes to get out of there, I'll try to help, but I can only be of assistance for about five more minutes, get out of there!" The teens eyes widened and she thanked her mother as she rushed out of that part of headquarters. She sighed as she made it through the doors with a minute to spare. Marinette regained her breath and made her way back to the brick wall and then to the bakery. What an adventure...
